Develop a questioning mindset

1. What tool/tools would you use to ask questions from different perspectives?

Think about the tools we used, eg. Thinking hats help to put different perspective on outcomes of a problem. Mind maps help to map out an idea. Brainstorming helps visually bring an idea to the surface.

2. What sources would you use to explore a variety of information?

Remember our trip to the library. Library notes are on the website

3. How to sort through the questions and information, issues and challenges?

6. On task 4 after our library tour, how did we explore a different way in presenting a font?

Identify the software used. a brief outline of the process and insert a jpg of the final font.

Imagine you are designing a poster; name three different ways of designing that poster.i.e. Photography , collage, painting, and the thought process of putting it together.

12. Sometimes ideas come to you when you least expect it. What is the best way to record this revelation?

You may have your phone, take notes, write it down, try and remember it and when you can write it down.

13. How would you make connections to things that don’t seem connected?

Make a word list that may in the end have associated words

14.Identify interrogate and challenge the assumptions behind ideas

15.Experiment with variations and explore and challenge a range of different ideas solutions and ideas

Name three artist with three different forms of art, this will show diversity of ideasi.e Dali - Dalí employed extensive symbolism in his work

16.Consciously change perspective and emulate ideas and situations in new ways

Attach a jpg of an AI = Illustrator file with perspective, look at the example. Experiment with different fonts – downloads fonts from Dafont.com

17.Show your follow students your idea of perspective and write their comment

Self explanatory

18.Write down a typical day of procedures, examine the possibilities of what you can change to make it a more productive day.

20.With the thinking tools we have used which one do you think you will use the most?

Eg. The tool I think works best for me is the brainstorming tool. I get as many ideas as I can on paper before I actually see what is available in the net.
