Purpose LSS Mentoring Services Annual Mentor Appreciation Breakfast honors and celebrates the hundreds of volunteer mentors that work with students throughout the Sioux Empire. Each year, the program recognizes outstanding commitment to mentoring by awarding the Citibank Outstanding Mentor, the Sanford Rookie Mentor and the First Premier/Premier Bankcard Community Partner. Recognition The Annual Mentor Appreciation Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, April 19 at 7:30 a.m. at The District. All mentors will be thanked and recognized for their service. Nominees will be recognized in the event program and the winners will be announced. All individuals associated with LSS Mentoring Services are invited to attend this free event. Nomination Instructions Complete one nomination form and respond to the nomination questions for each nominee. Nominations for Community Partner do not need a narrative. We ask that you limit your nominations to one per category. Also, please limit your response to one typed page to the narrative questions. Nominations may come from school personnel, businesses, organizations, fellow mentors, colleagues, friends or family members. Self-nominations are accepted. Nominations are due Monday, February 27. To submit, send the completed nomination to [email protected] , fax to (605) 444-7540 or mail to LSS Mentoring Services, 705 E 41 st Street, Suite 220, Sioux Falls, SD 57105. If a community partner or mentor has not won in the past three years, they are eligible to be nominated again in 2016. Community Partners not eligible this year are Wells Fargo (2014), Sanford (2015) and Oak Hills (2016).
