First Lesson: Acts 2:22-33 (EHV)22 “Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus the Nazarene was a man recommended to you by God with miracles, wonders, and signs that God did through him among you, as you yourselves know. 23 This man, who was handed over by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, you killed by having lawless men nail him to a cross. 24 He is the one God raised up by freeing him from the agony of death, because death was not able to hold him in its grip.

25 Indeed, David says concerning him: I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.26 Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced.My flesh also will rest in hope, 27 because you will not abandon my life to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.28 You have made known to me the paths of life.You will fill me with joy in your presence,

For the works that the Father gave me to carry out, the very works that I am doing, these testify about me that the Father has sent me. 37 The Father who sent me—he is the one who has testified about me. You have never heard his voice or seen his form. 38 And you do not have his word remaining in you, because you do not believe the one he sent. 39 You search the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them. No Worship July 4th: There will not be a worship service on Thursday July 4th. We pray you all have a safe holiday!

Timber Rattlers Game: Mt. Zion’s annual trip to Appleton will be on Friday night, August 2nd for a 7:05pm game. The ticket (adults- $24 and children 10 & under - $20) includes a pregame picnic on the 3rd base picnic deck and a box-seat near the Rattler dugout. The picnic starts at 5:45pm and lasts until the start of the game. (A minimum of 20 people is needed for the picnic) Please sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex. There are still seats available. If you have any questions – see Rick or Tammy Niemuth.

WLA: Winnebago Lutheran Academy is looking for families/individuals willing to host an international student for the 2019-2020 school year. We have many applications coming in for students hoping to attend the Academy, but we are unable to accept

these students if we do not have homes for them. If you would be willing to share your home and give these students the opportunity to join our WLA family, please contact Kristin Mose via email at kmose@wlavikings.org. Host families are compensated for room and board.
