We are set to tour the WSU Veterinary Hospital on November 18, 2017. There are some wonderful people volunteering part of their Saturday on our behalf to tour the WSU Veterinary Medicine School and the teaching hospital. This is an incredible and unique opportunity with a lot of learning opportunity. For any budding Veterinarians, this is a fabulous chance to see what goes on behind the scenes of a highly regarded vet school. Merit badge requirements will be achieved while we are there, and we won’t need outside meeting time to complete this badge. Please feel free to call Henry Mroch if you have any questions about this day trip. (This means that there are pathogens (viruses, bacteria) that are potentially harbored by some animals, which may be infectious to humans).

Restrictions for admittance include:

Anyone without a SPLEEN (you’d know this if it were the case) Anyone on PREDNISONE, IMMUNE SUPPRESSING MEDICATIONS Anyone with an immunosuppressed condition

This is not a dangerous tour. It is only to keep susceptible individuals from potentially contracting an infection. Good hand washing, not licking your hands (or animals!), following instructions, and a normal immune system will keep you safe.

195-SOUTH to Pullman EXIT – WSU Pullman (SR-270) RIGHT – SR 27 (Go about 1 block) QUICK LEFT – SR 270 LEFT – NE Stadium Way RIGHT – Grimes Way RIGHT - Ott Road Parking lot is on the RIGHT side (WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital) There are TWO maps included (one overview, one zoom version)
