WELCOME 2018-2019 8TH GRADE
PE AND HEALTH
Dear Parents / Guardians / Advocates:
My name is Mr. Ravard and I will be your son / daughter’s 8thGrade Physical Education and Health teacher. This will be my eighth year at Century Community Charter School.
I have designed a program for students that will help them develop the physical competence in physical activities for a lifetime. Our goal is to help students find a variety of ways to enjoy being physically active.
In the Health Curriculum, students will learn important Social, Emotional, and Physical changes they will experience. Students will be challenged in a variety of ways to research, analyze, evaluate, discuss, CREATE and present “health” as it relates to them and their surroundings using all types of media and technology.
We are very proud to continue the team spirit of Century Community Charter School for the 2018-2019 school year.
Sincerely,
Mr. Ravard
