REMOTE LEARNER CHECKLIST The start of the 2020-2021 school year is upon us, if you’re returning remotely, starng back classes might feel a lile overwhelming. We hope the checklist will show you step- by-step how to get ahead and not feel overwhelmed this semester. We also ask that you please adhere to the guidelines for Remote Learning. WE LOOK FORWARD TO A SUCCESSFUL YEAR! Things to do every day: I need to log into Live Class sessions on Teams or Zoom each class period based on my class schedule, from 7:30-2:15 with my video on. o If I am unable to access a Live Class session due to technical difficules it is my responsibility to check Blackboard and complete work for that period. I need to check each teacher’s Blackboard daily, complete assignments, and turn them in when due. (Make a note of all lessons turned in and on what date). I need to read announcements, messages, and e-mails daily. I will respond as needed. I will do my best always. I will have all my school supplies on the supply list ready. Things to do every week: I need to read my class syllabus. I need to create a study calendar. I need to check my grades. I need to review the school calendar I need to make a note of any overdue lessons and plan to catch-up. Things to do as needed: If I am having any problems with my assignments, I need to contact my teacher. I need to contact my school counselor if I am having any social or emoonal issues. I will access my online textbooks through MySCS textbook le. Important Reminders: All remote learners will follow the district aendance policy. All videos not on will result in an absence. All damaged computers will result in a school fine. All remote learners are required to follow the Student Code of Conduct Procedures. All remote learners will connue with remote learning unless all students are being asked to return to school. Any student not following the behavior guidelines during remote learning, will be subject to disciplinary issues.
