English work to be done during the week 6 th – 8 th and the Easter Holidays. The pictures given are from the workbook Think and Learn – Test Number 15. First you have a comprehension about three friends, two of them twins. Read it carefully and then answer the questions about it. In the language part, you have questions 1 a – e about the comprehension and exercise 2 is about adverbs, words that end with ‘ly’. In exercise C, you have the writing part. In number 1, you have to write 5 sentences using the phrases given to you. In exercise 2, you have to write four things you should not do when you are talking to a teacher ;) (looking forward to read these ones ) ;) and finally in exercise 3 you have to write a story about a boy called Tom who found a dog and wanted to keep him as a pet. There are some points which you can use and don’t forget to plan your story, divide into paragraphs and make good use of punctuation.
