Bisque Fire-1st firing helps to stabilize and harden the clay5. Bisque- Clay has been fired once6. Gloss Glaze- A coating of glass that gives pottery a smooth and brilliant surface7. Gloss Glaze Fire- Firing glaze, Last Stage that makes the gloss glaze turn smooth
