Music
Find a song you like to listen to or sing on your own.
(4th grade has been using the song, Africa, by Toto https://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=DwfY9Gre7SI but you can use any song.)
Then, get a drum and rhythm sticks. If you don’t have these instruments at home, get
creative! (For example, you could use a plastic kitchen bowl turned upside down as a drum
and wooden kitchen spoons as rhythm sticks.)
As you play or sing your song, the sticks will play a steady beat on the verses and the drums
will play on every beat 2 and 4 of each four-beat count on the chorus parts. If the music has other parts to the song, get creative and make up a pattern on your instrument. Have
fun!
LibraryDraw a comic strip that tells a story. Don’t forget to make sure to include characters, a setting, and events.
Call a friend and give them a book recommendation.

Don’t forget to visit the Little Free Library to get books and READ! READ! READ!

Use the skills we’ve learned in the art room such as complimentary colors, shading and organic/linear shapes to draw a crazy landscape, cityscape or seascape!
What items can you find in your bedroom that you can use as a still life to draw and incorporate into your drawing? A Barbie Doll in an underwater seascape? A monster stuffed animal roaming the countryside?
