Tarea #15: Midterm Practice and Study GuideOur midterm will cover vocabulary and grammar concepts from Capítulos 2B and 3A. A Day will be taking the test on Tuesday, March 12th and B Day on Wednesday, March 13th. Remember, assessments are worth 90% of your grade and there are NO opportunities to retake midterms and final exams. Do your best to prepare!

Parte A: Interpretive Listening (10 points)You will hear 10 different prompts as people share information about where they went shopping, what items they bought or what errands they had to go do around their community. We will be doing an Enfoque with 10 multiple choice practice prompts next class and you can fill out the information below. To prepare for this section, study the vocabulary lists for C2B and C3A on pgs. 124 and 152 or use the Quizlet sets for each of these chapters. 1. 6.2. 7.3. 8.4. 9.5. 10.

Parte B: Interpretative Reading (10 points)In this multiple choice section, you will have two types of readings. The first is based on comprehension and the other on grammar, particularly verb conjugations in the preterite. To prepare, study the same vocabulary lists and Quizlet sets as mentioned above AND study your notes on the preterite (past tense). I recommend doing additional practice conjugating verbs with either the two new Quizlet sets I’ve created called “Regular Preterite Verbs” and “Irregular Preterite Verbs” or using additional resources such as conjuguemos.com or studyspanish.com to do quick mini quizzes. Do the sample reading and complete the example problems below to practice reading comprehension and conjugation.

Interpretive Reading Comprehension Practice: Un regalo favoritoFor a class survey, students asked people of all ages what their favorite gift was. Read the survey responses below and answer the following questions.

and all the places you had to go last weekend. Give as many details as possible. You may talk about imaginary
