Supplications for the Student of Knowledge

حيم حمن الر ه الر بسم اللIn the name of Allah the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

هم صل على محمد وآل محمد اللOh Allah, bless Muhammad and his family.

ي أسألك علما نافعا وعمال صالحا هم إن الل وحفظا قويا وفهما كامال عقال سالما

احمين لر ٱبرحمتك يا ارحم Oh Allah I ask You for beneficial knowledge and good

deeds and a strong memory and a perfect understanding and a sound intellect by Your Mercy, oh the Most Merciful

of the merciful ones.

اللهم اخرجني من ظلمات الوهم واكرمني بنور الفهم

Oh Allah, please bring me out of the darkness of doubt and favour me with the light of comprehension.

اللهم افتح علينا ابواب رحمتك وانشر علينا خزآئن علومك برحمتك يا ارحم

احمين الرOh Allah open to us the doors of Your Mercy and unfold for

us the treasure of your knowledge by Your Mercy oh the Most Merciful of the merciful ones.

مني ما مـتني وعل هم انفعني بما عل اللينفعني

Oh Allah! Make useful for me what you have taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me.

اللهم اجعل لي في قلبي نورا وبصرا وك على كل شيء قدير فهما و علما ان

Oh Allah let my heart be filled with light and insight and understanding and knowledge. Verily You control

everything.

هم ال سهال إال ما جعلته سهال وأنت تجعل الحزن إذا الل شئت سهال

Oh Allah nothing is easy except what You have made easy. If You wish, You can make the difficult easy.

ي أسألك يا هم إن صلى الله على محمد وآل محمد. الل مذكر الخير وفاعله واآلمر به ذكرني ما

انسانه الشيطانBlessings of Allah be upon Muhammad and his progeny. Oh

Allah I ask you, the One Who mentions goodness and actualizes it and commands it, remind me of that which the

Shaytan makes me forget.

ين وحفظ بي ي أسألك فهم الن هم إن اللبين المرسلين المقر

Oh Allah! I ask you for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messengers, and those nearest to

you.

ي أستودعك ما قرأت وما هم إن الل حفظت، فرضه علي عند حاجتي إليه، إنك على ما تشاء قدير وأنت حسبي

ونعم الوكيلOh Allah! I entrust you with what I have read and I have studied. Oh Allah! Bring it back to me when I am in need

of it. Oh Allah! You do whatever You wish. You are my availer and protector and the best of aid.
