Column SubtractionClick on the document above the grid, copy

and complete as many questions as you can. If you complete them all, ask someone at home to makes up

some more to challenge you.

Try and answer at least 5 questions a

day.

Spelling – ious & cious

Throughout the week list as many words that end

in ‘ious’ & ‘cious’. Example ious – glorious,

obviouscious – delicious,

suspicious

Try silly challenges e.g. whenever someone uses

one of your words throughout the week, you

must spell it out while doing star jumps.

You should also be practicing planet

words spelling lists every week.

GardeningThere are lots of items in

your kitchen you can plant: lemon seeds,

avocado/mango stone, basil etc.

Google how to plant it and see if you can make your

own plant. Here is a lemon seed I planted 5 weeks ago.

Multiplication

To practice multiplication:

Use the website ‘Topmarks’ www.topmarks.co.uk

Search for the game - ‘Hit the button’

Once you are confident with multiplication, try the division questions.

Antonyms Antonyms are words with

opposite meanings.Example: Happy – sad,

upset, unhappy, displeased, angry.Find antonyms for:

KindBoringHugeSlow

Hideous Stupid Safe

Challenge: add some of these words in your imaginative story.

Drama/VerbsWith your family write a list of verbs (doing words) and put them in a bowl. In teams see

how many you can act/guess in one minute.

‘teaching’.
