a new PTO Pump for Pivot Irrigation
Systems
GATOR Pump, Inc. Brownwood Texas, USA, leader in PTO powered centrifugal pumps, introduces a new product designed for pivot irrigation systems. Our agriculture customers requested a modification of our traditional GATOR trailer pump to use surface water to feed pivot irrigation equipment.
The GATOR engineering team quickly responded and has modified the intake, casing and impeller of this GATOR 8” discharge OTTER pump so it can now deliver 1,100 gallons per minute @ 25 psi through 3000 ft of 10” PVC pipe.
The pump intake is screened with steel mesh to filter contaminants that could clog pivot sprinklers.
Large polyethylene pontoons are attached to the lower pump frame so the pump can rest just below the water surface. This allows the intake to float and helps prevent ingestion of bottom mud and debris.

Four GATOR Pivot Pumps are currently feeding Reinke Pivot Systems with the following specifications:
4 - 160' span of 8" pipe 7 - 175 foot span of 6 5/8" pipe 1 - 137 foot span of 6 5/8" pipe
