My mediums were paint, wood box, metal, and cardboard.
Both had the intent to show the value of time and how quickly time passes.
Salvador Dali’s mediums were oil on a canvas.
I was influenced by how fast time goes by and how fast my 13 years of life have passed.
We both used a clock to represent time passing.
Dali was influenced by Sigmund Freud’s writings about the unconscious and dreams.
I used a heart to represent how precious time is and to show that it was important. I also used a record to show that your life and what you do stays with you forever.
I think that Salvador Dali would like my artwork because I kind of represented the same thing that his did which time was passing/melting away quickly.
He used the clocks melting to show that it melts away and goes by fast.
