Nomination Scholarships (Can self-nominate):You must be nominated by a teacher or counselor, however students are encouraged to self-nominate. See the secretary in the College & Career Center for instructions on self-nominating.

All other (General) Scholarships:1. Each scholarship has a unique application that must be completed. You can get the application in one of the following ways:

Remember that any scholarships requiring a transcript must be submitted to the Counseling Center with a Transcript Request Form (green sheet) at least 10 school days before the due date. It is your responsibility to make sure the application is complete.

3. If the scholarship requires a transcript, the application will be mailed by the Counseling Center. A completed green sheet (transcript request form) must be submitted to the Counseling Center at least ten days before the deadline to allow time for processing.

4. If the scholarship does not require a transcript, it is your responsibility to follow all instructions given to submit the completed application to the scholarship organization before the due date.

5. If you are the recipient of a scholarship, be sure to write a thank you note to the scholarship granting organization.

FASNY - HELP Tuition Reimbursement Program

As an incentive for people to serve in New York's volunteer fire service, FASNY has developed the Higher Education Learning Plan (FASNY HELP). The PB&J Scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed.

Evaluation & Process

Applicants will be evaluated based on their essay and letters of recommendation; there is no GPA requirement. Please note: letters of recommendation must directly reference the student’s challenges. If the applicant does not wish to share their challenges with their recommender, then the recommendation must reference the student’s personal character.

Odenza Vacations College Scholarship 

To be considered eligible for the Odenza Vacations College Scholarship you must:

1) Be between the ages of 17 and 24 on September 1st, 2021

2) Submit answer to the essay question, which can be found on the application page, prior to the June 1st, 2021 deadline.

3) Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.

4) Be a resident of the United States or Canada

The scholarship winner will be announced roughly 6 weeks after the deadline and will be posted on this website immediately after. All applications must be received by 11:59pm ET on the day of the deadline. No late applications will be reviewed.

"What Will Be Your Trademark?" Scholarship

Our annual scholarship awards a student with $2,500 which can be used for any expenses associated with a college education. This can include rent, food, clothing, books, technology, tuition, or paying off loans.

The scholarship will be awarded to the community college, college, or law school student with the best story of what their “trademark” will be in life. In other words, when your career is over, what will you be known for?

Applicants must be 9th-12th grade high school, college or graduate school students who are legal U.S. residents. Students may study any major and attend any college in the U.S. Include and essay of 250 words or less, on one of the following: Why do you deserve to win this scholarship?
