1. Visit an eye specialist. Observe how they check the eyesight. How and why do they dilate the pupil of the patients? Find out what type of lenses are used to correct different vision problems. Make a report of your research.

2. Fix a white sheet of paper on a drawing board or a wooden board. In the middle of the sheet draw an angle of 900. Place two plane mirrors strips on the arms of the angle, such that backside of the mirror is in the line with arms. Place a lighted candle about 2 cm high in the middle of the mirrors and count the number of images formed.Repeat the activity by drawing an angle of 720, 600 and 450. In each case record the number of images formed.

3. Take a beaker. Fill it half with water and half with paraffin (transparent). Now keep a pencil in the beaker. Observe how does a pencil appear.Do the different layers of liquid affect its looks?Record your observations.

2. Write an article on “ Plastic Pollution” is a threat to aquatic life in about 200-250 words on A4 size sheet.
