Before we start another Tajweed lesson, it may be interesting to note that the book he is referring to is actually an Urdu book, AAB-E-KAUSAR would translate as water from Kauthar - however in Urdu as far as I am aware THAA is pronounced as closer to SAA
So please lets not begin the Tajweed lesson again, it left me more confused than before i read the posts!

You can't talk about the Urdu pronunciation of an Arabic word can you ? I mean Arabic is the language of the Quran so we have to have the Arabic pronunciation. There is absolutely no point in learning a wrong pronunciation.
Tajweed is not at all confusing and if you listen to the surah you will hear exactly how the letter thaa is pronounced
Do let me know if you hear an S in the word kauthar

He is perfectly entitled to do so. There are many words in the Urdu language which have been derived from Arabic, their meanings are similar or slightly different, their pronounciations can be different and have become Urdu words in their own right. You get similar themes in Malaysia and Turkey.

Salam - not only have I heard of Scribd, I have work on Scribd myself! I have just done a search on Scribd and, no, the AAB-E-KAUSAR or AAB-E-KAUTHAR Book is not available there. Besides, when a request is put for this Book, I also email 2 Attachments of the ENTIRE Holy Quran [English, Urdu], Dua-E-Azafa Rizq, Dua Booklet and another few indispensable Attachments to the person making the request.

I've not inspected his site or his book, but you guys being too harsh on him.

I agree that he shouldn't have done so, but why not leave it between him and the mods. He is frustrated; no need for us to take the pee out of him. maybe give gentle advise, but not rib him. Not brotherly to do so.

I think its important to remember that people are human. Maybe he thought in his original post he was trying to help others, and mistakinly thought by stopping him (if thats what happened) that we were doing a disservice to Islam. That would make frustration on his part understandable, even admirable to some extent. His reaction was wrong, but stemmed from goodness of him wanting to help others.
The rest of us need to be more mature., I honestly think you guys are being harsh by blasting/ridiculing him.

Dr's thread with links to his website ended up as a debate on tajweed. Guys were posting diagrams of how sounds should be uttered, and copy/paste texts all about transliteration from Arabic.
