This shows that the producer has considered the target audience during production as the movie turned out to be a big success as most blockbuster movies are especially Marvel films. The publicity and market strategy for this movie was also a success due to the amount of profit that the movie made at the gross of the theatrical movie release with the way it was advertised on social media, television and posters etc and the many different ways that the movie was marketed with the many different types of merchandise.

Awards: This movie had won so many awards and was nominated for even more awards too. In total this movie won 12 awards and had 46 nominations as well. The most important awards that this movie was nominated for were two Oscar awards which were for best achievement in visual effects and best achievement in makeup and hairstyling. Also the most important awards that the movie won was for best hair and makeup and best visual effects in the critics’ choice award. This shows that the movie was a big success saying that a movie like this has never been released before as it has a lot of comedy and one liners in the movie with the seriousness of the film too it was risky to make a movie like this but it worked and was made to a successful movie. It also shows that the producer had a lot of effort putting into to make this movie impress the target audience as a lot of superhero movies are either mind-blowing or don’t impress the audience at all and is another reason why this movie turned out to be a big success.

Conclusion: In my opinion I think that the Producer for this movie has and hasn’t considered the target audience during production; this is because a superhero movie like this has never been made with the comedy and the seriousness of the storyline to it as well. Which on paper can sound like a bad idea especially the title of the film because it does sound cheesy and cheap unlike a movie like The dark Knight or Man Of Steel. This can make the target audience a bit edgy on whether it will be worth seeing or will it be like the Green Lantern movie which wasn’t good at all. But saying that the producer has considered the target audience in areas of the movie such as genres which are all the genres needed to make a superhero films sound good and these genres are Action, Adventure and sci-fi. The comedy genre isn’t mentioned on the official genres of the movie so when you see the comedy side of the movie in the trailer or the movie then it can be a big shock to the target audience. But in my opinion as a fan of Marvel movies, I thought it was a good shock when I saw the comedy side of the movie and it wasn’t like every other superhero film that I have viewed which is what makes the movie so different and a great movie to watch. Another reason why I think that the producer has considered the target audience during production is the poster are for the movie as when you look at the poster it look like it would be an amazing movie to go and see in the cinema, especially

which all the special effects that are inside the poster that would attract the target audience. You can also tell that it is going to contain a lot of action, Sci-fi and adventure inside the movie, which are the key genres in the movie. In my opinion I think that the producers’ publicity and marketing strategy was done very well as the advertising for the movie was used in a variety of different ways. Examples of these is having its own official site, having a Facebook page, posters and trailers. This shows that the producer has thought of many ways to spread the word of the movie being released and wants to get as much of the target audience of the film to know about the film and how to get the latest news of the film. In my opinion I think that the marketing strategy for this movie had also been done well as a lot of merchandise was released for this film. For example t-shirts, mugs and toys/collectables, this is something that any superhero fan would love to buy especially if they are fans of the Marvel comics that came out before the film and is easy for the movie to make more money as a lot of people buy film merchandise especially Superhero fans. Overall I think that the producer has a successful publicity and marketing strategy for the film due to the amount of money that this movie made in just the USA.
