Credit-Bearing Arts Partnerships We have 13 students (primarily seniors) enrolled in credit-bearing arts classes outside of school Students receive course credit that counts toward their graduation requirement These courses are for Photography, DJ’ing, Painting, Videomaking, and Our Arts Partnerships Our Arts Partnerships have been key as we expand the arts at CHS. Over the past 2 years, we have worked with major Boston-area arts organizations to bring their performers and educators into our building. The arts are a vital part of any education. They provide students with the opportunity to explore, take risks, express themselves, and engage a world that’s larger than their own. In the past, with the focus on core academics, we struggled to offer sufficient arts programming to our students. Language, Culture, and the Arts Our Arabic II and Arabic Summer Academy students study the Drumming, Calligraphy, Theater, Field Trips This School Year Our A.P. U.S. History Class saw Bryan Cranston portray L.B.J. in “All the Way” at the American Reportoire Theater in Cambridge On May 1, our entire 9 th grade will be going to see Of Mice and Men at the Boston

These courses are for Photography, DJ’ing, Painting, Videomaking, and more

Students may also take Art History 101 at Bunker Hill Community College as part of our dual-enrollment
