Monday and Tuesday Task: today you are going to start writing your story. You are going to write the setting and build up. I would like you to do this through the Alan Peat ‘Imagine 3’ sentence type. Remember to you use characters, settings and sentence structures you planned last week! If you want to use images/pictures in your you can do that. Use this to help you. Once you have written your starter then write your build up but please wait to write your problem as this is going to be in the ‘DASH’ style will be explained in Wednesday’s lesson. Please remember to describe what is happening. It would be fantastic if you can include character motives – why are they doing what they are doing? – in your build up so the reader understands what/why things are happening. Try and use this online thesaurus: https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/kid to help you with your word choices.
