Ridgecrest Family Thanksgiving Celebration is today immediately after the morning worship service! Join us for a wonderful meal and fellowship together all in the spirit of thanking our God for his bountiful blessings on our church.

Welcome to our Ridgecrest family, Lewis William Carpenter! Lewis, son of proud parents Colby and Karlee Carpenter, arrived November 18 th, weighing 8lb 11oz and was 21 inches long.

Deacons 2020 – These men were voted in to serve as deacons for 2020: Mark Brashier, Chuck Brown, Colby Carpenter, Pat Given, Bruce Hill, Michael Johnson, Josh Pepper, Jon Ramsay, Roy Robinson, Bob Shearer, Chuck Slay, Jerry Stone, Ryan Wallace, Mike Weeks and Chris Williams. These men join our returning deacons. Please pray for our deacon body as God leads them to serve our Ridgecrest family.

Holiday Parents’ Night Out!! Mark your calendars - Friday, December 13th, 6-9PM. Our FREE PNO is open to infants to 5th graders. Middle school siblings may attend. Parents will provide a sack supper with drink. Online registration opening soon.

Volunteer for Parents’ Night Out - Help us provide a no-cost much-needed night out for parents of our youngest Ridgecrest family members on December 13th. If you would like to serve as one of 15-20 adult volunteers, please contact Stacie Albritton at [email protected]

Word of Christ Angel Tree and Food Boxes – As part of Christmas at Ridgecrest we have an opportunity to bless families through Word of Christ Ministry. You, your family, or life group can choose a child

from the Angel Tree and/or fill a box with food. Please see the display in the main hallway and plan to bring your gifts to Ridgecrest by Sunday, December 15 th. Thank you!

Christmas Mission Trip Opportunity: We are sending a group to serve with Beautiful Feet Ministries in Ft. Worth, TX Dec 20 th-22nd as they have Christmas-themed events and outreach. Contact Steve Given at [email protected].

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions will be observed in December and envelopes will be available for your convenience. The Cornerstone WMU will meet Thursday, December 5th at 11:00am in Room 105. Our program will feature one of our staff members, Adam Horn. He will share experiences on the Colombia, South America mission trip this year. Thank you for your support!

Paid childcare position - We are currently accepting applications for a caregiver for our infants and toddlers on Wednesday nights and special events beginning January 2020. To apply or for more, contact Stacie Albritton at [email protected]

Madison Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec 7th. Our float this year will include all age groups as we share the gospel with our community. If you would like to help with preparations or be part of the float, please contact [email protected] or sign up at https://bit.ly/2pwTyY2

A celebration of the Christmas story proclaiming that the “Light of the World” has come! We will partner with Ballet Magnificat! and Jackson State symphony to share a beautiful morning of worship. Invite someone to join you and be here December 8th, 10:30 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to help build the stage for our Christmas program. If you are able to help, please plan to meet in the sanctuary on Monday, December 2nd, at 8:00am. Please bring a cordless drill. Breakfast will be available. We could also use your help on Monday, the 9th, at 8:00am when we will tear down the stage.
