USE OF TITLE SEQUENCE

When I was researching into Zumba I discovered that out of the five documentaries I analysed only one had a title sequence. Basically the word Zumba enlarged on the screen and then the documentary went straight into speech.

Unlike these other documentaries I decided to incorporate a title sequence consisting mainly of kinetic text. The documentary starts with the title of the documentary (Sally’s World of Zumba) appearing from the left and onto the centre of the screen.

I have decided to incorporate this title (kinetic text) as it informs the viewer what the documentary is about in a fashionable manner.

When Sally opens the door, the kinetic text zooms outwards with the letter “O” on word “World” symmetrically enlarging around Sally thereby inviting the viewer into Sally’s world of Zumba and disappears as soon as she enters the class.
