Each week your MFL teacher will set you TWO types of home learning:

Knowledge – vocabulary learning (12-15 words a week) Skill – an exercise in practising listening, speaking, reading or

writing

This booklet contains exercises to practise your skills in MFL over the coming year. Each week you will complete one of these exercises set by your MFL teacher. Over a term you will have completed the following:

Translation into German x2 Translation into English x2 Reading comprehension exercises x2 Role-play card x2 Photo card x2 Pearson Active Learn exercises x 2 Revision x2

Each task should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. You will need to complete the answers in this booklet or you will complete an exercise online. Your MFL teacher will go through the answers in class.

When you are completing a homework task you should also look up and note down (in your green vocabulary books) any new words that you have come across. It is important that you regularly keep coming back to your green vocabulary book so that you are continually familiarising yourself with these words.

It is our expectation that all homework is completed to a high standard and deadlines are met. Should you encounter any difficulties in completing your homework then you should speak to your MFL teacher to seek further support.
