Wednesday 3rd June Good morning! I hope you and your family are all well! Here is your joke for today: What do you call a funny mountain? - Hill-arious.
Here are the answers for yesterdays workbook:

Lesson 3: Chapter consolidation. To be able to apply knowledge of mass to solve problems.
Reading for pleasure.

Verbally answer the following questions: Where do you think Arthur, the whale, goes at the end of the story?
How do you think Arthur feels at the end of the story- sad or happy? Why do you think that?
Recalling story details: In the story, what things did Emily do for Arthur that were kind and loving? Make a list of all the things you remember.
You are going to write a thank you letter from Arthur to Emily, saying thank you for being so kind. Remember to start your letter with ‘Dear Emily,’ Decide what sign-off Arthur would use. Will he use a formal one like Greenpeace (yours sincerely) or a friendly, informal one like Emily (love, Emily)?
Reading: Read the following story about a Pirate adventure:
Spellings: try and find your spellings in the word search below!
Project: ICT.You will be starting to use Word Processing and today we will be looking at typing in particular. Have a look at the PowerPoint (on the blog). Follow the instructions on the PowerPoint. You will be using both hands to write your name with a capital letter (names always need capital letters). You will also write two sentences. You can do this task using a laptop or an IPad (whatever you have been using to access your school work). Some of the keyboards might look a little different but that is ok! I just want you to have a go and feel
confident and comfortable with typing.
