NOTES:1. In 2015, before a Senior Team can register, it must have 7 players

and nominate an acceptable umpire. See mandatory requirements on page 2.

Before signing the Impalas Netball and BHSNA player registration forms, please read the conditions carefully, particularly those regarding your obligations to the Club under its Constitution, Playing Rules and Grading Policy, and the requirements of the Netball Australia, BHSNA and Impalas Netball Incorporated Codes of Behaviour.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATIONPlease complete both the Impalas Netball and BHSNA application formsNew players Photograph (colour, passport size) Identification (photocopy of either birth certificate, driver’s licence or passport)

Senior Teams Senior Players age is from 16yrs and up. Under 17 (age 16 to 17) Under 21 (Age 18 to 21 yrs) teams must supply birth certificates or

Drivers Licence as proof of age for the relevant grade and age.

Players forming their own team will not be able to register unless they provide the Registrar with the registration forms and fees of at least seven (7) players.

A team nominated umpire at the appropriate level as per the grade of the team must also be provided, otherwise Team registrations will not be accepted. (See page 6 for Umpiring levels for each grade).

Conditions of registrationAll teams will abide by the Rules and Regulations of Impalas Netball and BHSNA, including the codes of conduct.

You will ensure that your team is represented at every club meeting (penalty applies). , It has been a decision of the 2013 Executive that this will be enforced as per the Clubs Plays Rules.

You will meet all canteen and other duties assigned to your team (penalty: $50 + game forfeit).

You will ensure your team meets every umpiring duty allocated (penalty: $80 + game forfeit).

2015 fees $230.00All players and registration fees must be paid in full by 29th January 2015.

Families with 3 or more registration receive a $10 discount on the 3rd

Cheque or cash accepted (cheque preferred). Please make cheque payable to Impalas Netball Club. No credit card or EFTPOS facilities available.

PLEASE NOTE: Fees include compulsory sporting injuries cover. This is NOT a full medical cover and applies only to a portion of the balance outstanding after Medicare and/or private health insurance claims have been paid.

Any player who decides to deregister must notify the club Registrar in writing as soon as possible. A penalty fee will be incurred from all parts. (Netball NSW, BHSNA and Impalas)

De-registrationIn addition to the non-refundable administration fee of $10: Players who withdraw after team announcements forfeit a further $25. Players who withdraw after teams are lodged with BHSNA forfeit a further $50 and cannot

register with any other BHSNA club in 2015. Players who withdraw after competition has started but not played will receive partial

payment after BHSNA and Netball NSW release payment after week 8.

Information for all teams Club meetings are held on Monday nights during the season (about 3 in all), plus the AGM,

usually in August. A representative of each team is required to attend. A penalty to the team of a game forfeit will apply if this duty is not met.

The Club will have canteen duty at least once during the season and every team will be assigned a time on this day. This duty must be met otherwise a penalty of $50 per player required from BHSNA.

Where required, teams must fulfill their umpiring obligations.

TrainingTeams wishing to train will need to contact the Coaching Co-ordinator or Assistant Coaching Co-ordinator to book a court at Coolong Reserve, Castle Hill. Please refer to the Impalas Website for contact information.

Playing EquipmentTo receive your Teams playing equipment please contact the Equipment Officer to arrange. Please refer to the Impalas Website for contact information.

UniformsPlayers must wear the club’s registered uniform, consisting of:

Green bodysuit. If new players contact Uniform & Equipment Officer for a second hand uniform as the Club is changing to a new Uniform in 2016.

White or Impalas club socks, which must rise above the ankle bone.

Other Impalas Netball clothing items are also available, including socks, training shirts, and hooded jackets. Details of prices and availability will be given in response to enquiries, and in the Club’s newsletter.

Phone: (02) 9894 8250In order to keep prices at a reasonable level, the Sydney Netball Shop all orders must be placed by 30th January 2015 to guarantee them for the start of the season. Please ensure your order is placed in time.

Games are played …… at BHSNA Netball Complex, Wellgate Avenue, Kellyville on Saturday mornings for Juniors, afternoons for Seniors. First game is still under advisement due to World Cup.

4 Allocation Guide for Placing Umpires on Games

Allocation of umpires to games should be based on their performance.

Umpires less than 16 years of age may not be allocated to senior grades unless permission is granted by the district umpires committee and qualified supervision is arranged to support the umpire. The exception would be those umpires in this age category who already hold a national badge or who are talent identified.
