The Cowley College Fine Arts program is a rigorous study of the fundamentals of art. Students will leave the program not only with a comprehensive portfolio of work but a thorough understanding of the formal elements of art. The Associates of Arts degree from Cowley College offers an introduction to various artistic media. Drawing, design, painting, sculpture, and ceramics are courses that illustrate artistic diversity to students. Art students have the flexibility to focus on one specialty or to explore a variety of media and techniques. All courses build on the fundamentals of design and promote excellence in craft. The program offers many opportunities to be involved in public art projects and to show their work in area art exhibits.
