r Overview

- Recognizing the importance of mutual understanding among different people, Cross-Cultural

Awareness Programme(CCAP) has been introducing a diversity of cultures from around the

world to the Korean youth.

r CCAP Purpose

- To augment the education of international understanding in schools by sensitizing Korean youth

to the need for intercultural understanding and learning to live together.

- To provide opportunities for individuals from different cultural backgrounds to share

their traditions with others.

r Job Details

- Teach Korean students in different schools(at least at 9 schools) about your country’s culture with

your Korean BUDDY. (Your buddy has to participate in the CCAP as a Korean Interpretation

Volunteers.)

- Prepare a PowerPoint presentation and class materials for activities

r Additional Notes

- There will be another application period for CCAP.

- The detailed information about the application procedures and deadline for CCAP will be

announced in the beginning of March.

- CCAP is also part of the internship, so you can’t participate in both internship and CCAP at the

same time.

- You should apply for CCAP with your Korean buddy as a team.

If you would like to apply for CCAP, please discuss with your Korean buddy first.

- Please bring your traditional costume, flag, souvenirs and the like with you if you want to join

CCAP.
