“NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION EXAM” (NTSE) by NCERT, New Delhi will be take place in two phase for class X students of the current academic session. First level exam will be taken by State exam Board, Gandhinagar on 03/11/2019, Sunday.

Application for this exam will be available on www.sebexam.org website which will be filled online from 13/08/2019 to 14/09/2019.

Rules of Scholarship amount and payment : Students who will clear both level NTSE exams they will be eligible for the

scholarship from NCERT, New Delhi. Monthly Rs. 1250/- scholarship for classes 11 and 12. For the study of under graduation and graduation Monthly 2000/- scholarship. For Ph.D. scholarship will be given as per the norms of UGC.

Eligibility of Students : All students of class X studying in recognised schools are eligible to appear for NTSE

examination, conducted by state board.Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for

scholarship, provided the student is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and he/she is appearing in class X examination for the first time.

Indian Students Studying Abroad in class X can appear directly for stage II NTS Examination under conditions prescribed in the NTS brochure October-2019 which is available on the NCERT website should to fill till 31/12/2019.

Income Limit : As per NCERT, New Delhi income limit will not be considered in this scheme. Deserve students will get full scholarship.

Fees : For General Category students 70/- P.H., OBC, SC and ST Category students 50/- Service charges will be paid extra Fees will not be refunded.

Fees Collection Centre: As a Fees collection centre take the print of the challan and pay fees in the post

office. Out of 3 print 2 prints will be return by post office. Cross check confirmation number with the fees payment receipt.

Online payment can be paid with “ATM CARD/NET BANKING”. To pay online fees click on “Print Application/ Challan” and fill all the details. Then click on Online Payment. After that select Net Banking of fee or Other Payment Mode and fill other details. Once the payment will be done you will get payment success message on screen and you will get e-receipt. Take the print of e-receipt. It there will be any fault in the payment you will get the payment failure message.

Candidate has to complain to state exam board if fees amount has been deducted from the account but not getting e-receipt.

Exam Structure: Medium of Exam will be Gujarati and English. As per the selection of language

done by students question paper will ask in same language. This exam will be Multiple choice Question based-MCQs. Each question will count 1 mark. There will be no negative marking in this exam. Blind students will get extra 30-30 minutes in both the section.

Qualifying Marks : Qualifying marks for general and OBC will be 40% and qualifying marks for SC,

ST and PH category students will be 32 %. Method of doing Online Application :

As per this Advertisement online application will be accepted by State Exam board. From 13/08/2019 (03:00 PM) to 14/09/2019 (11:59 PM) application will be filled on www.sebexam.org website. Follow given points for online registration.

Form should be filled in English. Go to www.sebexam.org

Click on “Apply online” Click on “National Talent Search Examination – (STD-10)” – Apply Now Once you will click Apply Now Application Format will be open. Fill all the

details in the Application Format. For school details enter School DISE Number. Once you will click on save button your data will be saved and application

Number will be Generate which candidate has to save it properly. On Top of the page click on Upload photo-Signature. Type your application

number and your Date of Birth then click on submit button. Here you have to upload photo and signature.

To upload photo and signature first of all consider this point that image should not be greater than 10 kb. Click on browse button. Select jpg file from computer and click on open button. Click on upload button just next to browse button. Candidate can see their photo. Same way upload signature.

Click on confirm application. Type your Application Number and your Date of Birth after that click on submit button. If candidates wants to do any change then click on Edit Application. Once the application will be confirmed changes will not be done in the application.

If there is no correction than only click on Confirm button. Once candidate will click on Confirm application it will be accepted as final.

Click on Print Application & Fee Challan. Type your Confirmation Number and your DOB then click on submit button.

Take print of your application and Fees Challan. After that payment can be done via computerised post office, cash or online

payment gateway ATM CARD/ NET BANKING. Important Documents/Certificates:

Attach given documents and certificates with printed application form. Fees Challan (Only SEB Copy) Caste certificate (If required) Certificate of Handicapping Non-Cremy Layer Certificate (only for OBC Category)

Procedure Which school has to do: School will be responsible to fill online application of the students. School has to submit all the application with principal’s sign and stamp and other

required documents at DEO office till 21/09/2019. Duty of DEO Office:

DEO Office has to check all the application sent by schools with attached documents and has to approve online with the state boards given Id till 30/09/2019 and has to submit all the hardcopy of application form to State Exam Board, Gandhinagar till 08/10/2019.

Second Level Exam: Students who will come in Merit Quota will be able to appear in the second level

NCERT, NEW DELHI exam which will be conducted on 12/05/2019 at Gandhinagar. Reservation:

15% for students belonging to the SC Category, 7.5% for students belonging to the ST category 27% for students belonging to the OBC category

(OBC reservation benefit will only be for the students who will be having non-cremy certificate and listed in central list. OBC Central List is given below)

10% for EWS category. (AS per resolution on 23/01/2019 New Reservation scheme will be applicable for other caste candidate except SC, ST, OBC and other Social and Education wise backward classes whose total income should be less than 8,00,000.)

4% for Physically Challenged Group of Students, 4% reservation for PH category will be divided as mentioned.For given below PH

DEO has to send the copy of this circular to all the government schools, granted schools, private schools till 13/08/2019 and send a copy of this circular to State board Exam.

If any school will not get this circular than the full responsibility will be of DEO Office.

Schools will be responsible to fill all the forms of all the students. School has to submit all the application with principal’s sign and stamp and other

required documents at DEO office till 21/09/2019. DEO Office has to check all the application sent by schools with attached

documents and has to approve online with the state boards given Id till 30/09/2019 and has to submit all the hardcopy of application form to State Exam Board, Gandhinagar till 08/10/2019.

Important Instructions: Application will be cancelled for those students or school who will send it directly

to State Exam Board. Application form should be filling very carefully. Name, Surname, DOB, Caste or

others matters will not be changed by state exam board. For any query while filling online form contact to phone number which is

available on website. Publish this circular on District level Education Magazine/ Newspaper and give a

press note for the same so more and more no of students will be aware about this advertisement.

Try to fill minimum 5 students application form for the benefit of the students.
