Technology Standard: HS.TT.1.1 Use appropriate technology & other resources to access information Level of Bloom's: Applying Vocabu lary: New window, arrange all, split, view side by side, reset window, ruler, gridlines, navigation pane, thumbnail, find, wildcard, replace, go to, object zoom, scroll bars, scroll box, Scroll button, cut, copy, paste Strategies/Sequence of Instruction: Monday: Engage: Students will finish Memorial Day activity from day before. (Level 3) Explore: Complete project 1-1 (Typing a Business Letter as a class). (Level 2) Explain: Students were divided into groups to create company name, logo, and slogan. (Level 3) Elaborate: Students created a folder with their name in google drive and share with me to save company/project assignments. Evaluate: Students played word lesson 1 quiz game on Edmodo. (Level 2) Tuesday: Engage: Students will finish creating their company name, logo, and slogan. (Level 3) Explore: Complete Project 8-3 (Flyer), 8-4 ( Chart), & 8-6 (Shapes) as a class. (Level 2) Explain: Students will get in groups and create a memo and business letter for their company. (Level 3) Elaborate: Students will complete a typing assignment where they will identify 5 features on the Word 2013 window under the home tab, and how to use them. (Level 2) Evaluate: Students will play word lesson 1 & lesson 8 quiz on Edmodo and repeat until student gets 100%. Students can Play games on quia, quizlet or Edmodo to review for Lesson 1 & 8 Vocats Test Homework-Study for Lesson 1 & 8 Vocats Test. (Level 2) Wednesday: Engage: Lesson 1 & 8 Vocats Test on School Net, write out the questions missed and correct answer two times each. (Level 2) Explore: Discuss Lesson 1 & 8 Test, and let students retest if need. (Level 2) Explain: Students will use Cornell Note on Edmodo to copy Lesson 2 Vocabulary words from Lesson 2 PPT (Basic Editing). (Level 2) Elaborate: Students will complete a Spreadsheet Alphabet Soup handout on Edmodo, using lesson and students will be asked to share out. Pass out Lesson 2 studyguide.
