There are vacancies at Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board for India (AKYSBI) for two Program Development Officer. AKYSBI is a community-based organization that conducts developmental programs (including camps) for community youth in the ages 8 to 25 years across India. These programs are preventive in nature and designed to enhance life skills and developmental assets based on Search Institute’s 40 Development Assets theory. Various camps are organized, mainly in Gujarat and Mumbai. These camps aim to increase self-confidence, create higher aspirations, and develop muscle to restrain from risky behaviors, set life goals and identify ways to achieve the same.  We are looking for someone who holds M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Social Psychology (preferred). The candidate will lead the overall planning and implementation of programs for the youth. He/She will be charged with the responsibility of:

        Conceptualization and designing new programs for the youth.        Conceptualization, designing and implementing programs.        Conducting online research and studies regarding issues facing the youth.        Conceptualization and designing post program development and evaluation tools.        Co-coordinating with Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) and external agencies for identifying professional faculties for the program.        To ensure timely compliance of all requirements related to pre and post program execution.        To conceptualize, design and conduct training for facilitators/volunteers.        Planning and implementation of National programs and camps. This will include preparation of material list for the camp and all other tasks to ensure smooth conduct of the program and camp and overall administration at the camp site.        Correspondence and communication with external and AKDN agencies in relation to the National Programs.

 Language proficiency: English and Hindi. Gujarati would be an added advantage,
