Grade One Learning Activities

Monday- Letter G (Game)

Boogle

Balloon Tennis

What you will need: paper plates, balloons, masking tape, plastic or wooden spoon.

Tape your spoon to the back of your paper plate. Then use it like a tennis racket and the balloon as your ball. Hit the balloon back and forth and see which team can keep it in the air the longest.

You can also play individually by using one racket and try to keep the balloon in the air.

Family Game Night

Dust off all those games in the closet and play a couple of board games together.

Paper Plane Landing Strip Make a paper plane. If you’re not sure how click HERE for step by step instructions. Use masking tape to create a landing strip on the floor (see picture). Take turns throwing your plane and add up your score. See who can get the highest score.
