• Active Allowance is a web service that helps children learn responsibility with their money. Students will also learn the value of objects and how to make the appropriate choices when buying products.

• Teachers could use this program to create a classroom community using money. Give students a taste of the real world and how it is run. Teachers could also use this program to show students how to make the right choice.

• Allowance to create a mini-budget

• Family bank checks for children to fill out

• Reading material on saving money

• Ways to help students appreciate what they have

• The program allows children from ages 5-12 improve on basic skills with the best quality courseware. It is also a great resource for parents and educators.

• There are a number of great lesson plans that teachers could utilize in the classroom. Covers a large subject area using the internet as a medium.
