product (Extra Crests available – 25c each) Choice of a flashlight or knife for selling $300-599 Scouting t-shirt for  filling all 30 rows of an order form National top-seller will receive a Go-Pro Camera

package (complete with Go-Pro camera, case, stand, and elastic mounts)

Council top-sellers will receive a Go-Pro Camera Draw for adventure packages in each Council

Beavers/cubs will be included in a draw for a family adventure package

Scouts/Venturers/Rovers will be included in a draw for individual youth adventure package

Optional Group Recognition program includes: If a Group opts to participate, each participant in the Group

will receive 5% of their gross sales in Scout Shop gift cards For example, if a youth sells $515 of product they would receive a

$25 gift card The 5% profit recognition payment is a combination of 4%

paid out of the Group’s profit and 1 % paid out of the National office Increments would be:

$200-$299 sold receives $10 gift card $300-$399 sold receives $15 gift card $400-$499 sold receives $20 gift card $500-$599 sold receives $25 gift card $600-$699 sold receives $30 gift card, etc

Scout Shop gift cards can be used online at scoutshop.ca, at any Scout Shop location or through a point-of-sale terminal in a Council office for Council-sponsored activities.

Groups have until October 1st to decide if they wish to “opt in” to the program.

Whether a youth sold $200 or $299, the youth receives a $10 in Scout bucks.

The Group pays $8 and Scouts Canada pays $2.

The Tier 2 recognition is an incentive to get the youth to increase sales.

Groups will receive a greater profit that more than covers the cost of the recognition program.

We have asked National as to who will track the recognition. Expect Groups to submit to Areas, Council and a consolidated submission to National.

We still need the listing of contacts at the Group level. (Only have Odawa)

Needed so we can track who is accessing the Trails End Website and for Password control

Trails End Scholarship program is still available for youth.
