Brazil: Deforestation - Rainforest Destruction
When people clear out spaces of the great Amazon Rainforest, it does much harm to the earth.
Workers clear out areas in the Amazon for buildings, farmlands, mining, and roads as well. Not only does this eliminate many creatures by destroying their natural habitat, it destroys plants and trees in this lush, leafy land.
Deforestation causes there to be less oxygen; which is detrimental to the earth as a whole.
Come On Down!
South America is an amazing place to see. You can always see skyscrapers and other buildings, but in Latin
America and the Caribbean, you can see wild and colorful plants, exotic animals, and trees that tower even some tall buildings that you are familiar with.
There are beautiful seas and lakes to visit, as well as plains, hills, and mountains.
In places like Mexico, ancient civilizations once existed and some still do to this day.
South America holds many great treasures and surprises. There
are many reasons why you should think about planning a trip to this part of the world; a virtual tour definitely is not enough!
