Set in amidst manicured lawns, fragrant gardens and rolling parkland designed by Capability Brown, the 18th century Grade I listed mansion is at the end of a sweeping drive and retains the grandeur of a bygone era with the luxurious facilities of a modern hotel.

Originally built as a magnificent private house, Luton Hoo has a romantic royal pedigree as Queen elizabeth and the duke of edinburgh celebrated their wedding anniversaries at Luton Hoo in the early years of their marriage. Today some of the lavish rooms they stayed in form part of the Queen’s Suite.

Our stunning suites for weddings and receptions include a former Orthodox russian Chapel, which will make every bride feel like a princess. The Mansion House is a magical wedding venue. From an intimate gathering to a wedding party on a grand scale, we offer exquisitely appointed rooms that are also licensed for civil ceremonies.

Our unique venues include the Fabergé Suite, which is the perfect setting for a reception for large weddings. The suite, with its pillars and alcoves, is decorated with colourful artwork recalling the days when the Mansion House was home to one of the world’s richest collection of Fabergé pieces collected by former owner Sir Julius Wernher for his wife.

The suite has its own bar and easy access to the grandeur of the romanov Suite situated above. This unusual room, formerly a russian Orthodox chapel, features an ornate domed ceiling with stained glass panels, perfect as a backdrop for wedding photography.

The function suites, which are licensed for civil ceremonies, vary in size and character and can accommodate up to 290 guests for a wedding breakfast.

There are 84 bedrooms and suites and other amenities at this idyllic hideaway including an indoor swimming pool and snooker room. The kitchen is also available for wedding parties that wish to bring in their own chef to cater for special dietary requirements.
