Sisters Rock Restaurant
Celebrate your occasion in an intimate setting surrounded by family and friends.
• Our restaurant can comfortably seat up to 40 guests. You can enjoy your ceremony on the
lawn followed by afternoon drinks on the lower deck area overlooking the pinot block
and the cherry orchard. Dinner can be served in the restaurant or on the deck on a warm
summer evening.
Consider dancing on the deck areas under the stars to compliment a perfect evening.
Wine Cellar
Spacious, scenic and adaptable to your needs.
• The wine cellar can seat up to 140 guests with many table configurations possible. We will set
this space to suit your needs.
The area opens on to the terrace and lawns. It also has a large open fire place that in
the cooler months creates a warm ambience. The terrace area is perfect for drinks and canapes
following your ceremony and also for dancing and celebrating later in the night.
Garden Marquee
Your most memorable day deserves an exquisite space.
• Groups larger than 140 need to consider a larger space. The lawn terrace at Borrodell is perfect
for a romantic garden marquee.
This can be adjusted to suit the size of the group and personal style.
What could be more romantic?
Please contact us to discuss this option. The cost of hiring the marquee depends on the size and
the extras that you choose – so the price varies according to these variables.
The venue hire costs will be added to the cost of the marquee.

CATERING From cocktail party to a formal dinner, there are many options.
Our wedding co-ordinator will discuss with you your menu. Catering will be by the team at
Sister’s Rock Restaurant and will include fresh local produce when seasonally available.
- Canapé, entrée, main and dessert options are available. There is a minimum food requirement of
three courses. Enjoy canapés on the lawn followed by a formal dinner in the restaurant or the
wine cellar - an elegant way to mark your special day.
- Shared Platters create a less formal atmosphere for your wedding.
We can discuss with you your specific requirements and design a menu to suit.
- For an interactive and casual canapé only wedding, a minimum of eight choices is required.
The wedding cake is often served as dessert however a dessert list is also available. We can also provide
a memorable dessert table for you and your guests to enjoy.
DRINKS
Borrodell Vineyard will supply all drinks for your event. We are not BYO. We have a full range of wines to
choose from including crisp white wines to fruity and robust red wines.
Sparkling wine, beers, cider, spirits and soft drinks are all available. We charge on consumption.

1. “Kingston” and “Somerset” Cider suites.

2. “Chardonnay” and “Truffles” Cottages.
Two 3-bedroom self-contained cottages surrounded by grapes and apples.

WHAT IS THE BEST MONTH AND TIME TO
GET MARRIED AT BORRODELL?
Borrodell Vineyard has spectacular views
across the vineyard and Towac Valley. This
is very seasonal and the views reflect this.
All seasons are different, distinctive and all
are very beautiful.
IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS
REQUIRED FOR A WEDDING?
Not necessarily however please be aware
that we will be running the restaurant
concurrently if the wedding reception is
small.
ARE WE ALLOWED A CEREMONY
REHEARSAL?
Yes, Friday afternoon is usually the best
time but please check with us before
organising your group.
TENTATIVE BOOKINGS
Tentative bookings will be held for a period
of seven days, and will automatically be
cancelled if not confirmed.
If you need more time, please contact us.
WILL YOU BE ABLE TO CATER FOR SPECIAL
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Yes. Please discuss this with the coordinator
two weeks before the event so that we can
provide appropriate meals for your guests.
WHAT TIME CAN I START MY RECEPTION?
Wedding ceremonies can be planned to
start at 4.30pm at the earliest. Reception
only bookings can be planned to start from
5.30pm. All service of drinks will cease at
11.30pm to allow guests time to organise
their departure by midnight.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU
ACCEPT?
Credit card, direct debit or cheque by
arrangement.
CONFIRMATIONS
All bookings will be confirmed with receipt
of the signed booking form and a $1000
deposit required at the time of
confirmation. This will be deducted from
your final bill.

CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation by the client, all
monies paid will be forfeited to Borrodell. A
fee of $3000 will be charged for cancellations
within 90 days, prior to the function date.
If Borrodell is unable to proceed with your
booking due to any reason beyond Borrodell’ s
control (eg. fire or flooding) then Borrodell has
the right to cancel the booking and return your
deposit. Borrodell will have no further liability
for such cancellation.
FINAL NUMBERS
Final numbers must be confirmed 21 days in
advance to your function date. Invoicing will
be based on this number.
PAYMENT
Final balance of the account is to be paid in
full one week prior to the event.
Drinks consumed are payable the day after the
wedding.
Any additional charges associated with the
event; i.e. extra time, damages occurred, are
to be paid the day after the event.
DRINKS
Borrodell is fully licensed. We are not BYO.
All licensing regulations are observed.
No underage or excessive drinking.
No alcohol is to be brought onto the premises.
The bar will be closed at 11.30pm.
CATERING CHOICES
Catering choices are to be finalised at least
three weeks in advance of the wedding. Please
advise us of any special dietary requirements
when finalising the menu. The cost of mains is
based on one or two choices being served
alternatively. There is a minimum requirement
of three courses.
No food is to be brought into the venue.
PRICING AND SURCHARGES
Prices quoted are subject to change due to
seasonal produce availability or environmental
factors. You will be advised of any price
changes before the event, and an alternate
option will be made available, if necessary.
A 15% surcharge will apply to all charges on
public holidays and Sundays.
ACCESS
The Cellar is available on Saturday mornings
from 9am for setting up. If you need to access
it on Friday, subject to availability, the cost is
an extra $200.
FUNCTION SCHEDULE AND FINISH TIME
Guests are requested to vacate the venue
before midnight to comply with licensing laws.
Penalty rates of $200 per half hour after
12am apply for late departure.
Please arrange suitable transport, ie, bus pick-
up, before the event.
DAMAGE / INSURANCE
Any damage, breakages or excessive cleaning
for the function will be the responsibility of the
organiser. The costs will be charged to the final
bill.
