Here at Big Entertainment we understand that you want wonderful wedding pictures that reflect the uniqueness of your Wedding Day. The aim is to capture your day on camera as it unfolds with those special moments and exchanges between family and friends. We tailor our photography to suit your requirements, combining a modern relaxed approach with a little touch of tradition. Our photographic style is natural and spontaneous, resulting in a fabulous story-book wedding album. All of our packages include top-quality professional album and the option to personalize it to your own specifications.

We are a friendly, professional, yet approachable service, bringing with us a wealth of knowledge to help your Wedding Day run more smoothly.

Wedding Packages

All packages include a hard-backed, story-book album, containing the number of professionally printed and retouched images detailed in that package. There is also the option to upgrade your album or to increase the number of images it holds.

All packages include a CD with a number of high-resolution professionally retouched images (images chosen for the album as outlined in the package) copyright-free for you to print as you please. The images will reproduce to a high quality up to 6 by 4 inches, in any high street or online printers.

Our photographic style, unless otherwise requested, is to document your wedding in a candid “photojournalistic” way blended with the more traditional “portrait” approach. Our way of working is friendly and unobtrusive.

We aim to make your images available for you to view online two weeks after the event via a password-secured website. Once you have seen the images you can pass the details onto your family and friends, and if they would like to buy any, they can do so straight from the website. This will remove the need for you to be personally involved in the ordering of images, other than your own.

Wedding Photography Prices 2011 - 2012

Silver - £650 ( 2012 - £695 )

We will attend the ceremony venue in good time to photograph the Groom meeting guests. We will take relaxed and informal shots at this stage before the arrival of the Bridesmaids and the Bride, then time allowing, we will photograph the Bridal Party before they enter the ceremony venue. We will then capture the ceremony and the signing of the register under the direction of the Celebrant.

N.B. It is important to check with the Celebrant well in advance of the Wedding Day, what they are comfortable with in terms of photographs being taken. Most Celebrants are welcoming but some have very strict guidelines as to what a photographer can do during the service, and some allow almost no coverage at all.

After the ceremony we will continue with the mixture of relaxed and more traditional styles capturing the Bride & Groom leaving the venue and then onto the group shots. Where permitted we will take pictures of the confetti being thrown and any other shots you have asked for beforehand, which I refer to as “the Must Have Shots”. We aim to have these shots completed within thirty minutes, however this is dependent upon the weather and your own schedule restrictions that may need to be kept to.

If the weather conditions are not conducive to outdoor shots,we may need to use the best available space we have to work with indoors. Often the main images to be used in your album will come from this more formal part of the day.

We will then go on to attend the reception venue where we will continue with the candid style of photography and include a romantic “portrait-styled” session with the Bride & Groom. We will take staged shots of the cake cutting and pictures with the wedding car if desired. Then by the time you sit down to your Wedding Breakfast, you will be able to relax, safe in the knowledge that your memories have been captured.

This package includes the lovely Madrid 8 x 8 inch album in Black, with ten pages (twenty sides) holding up to thirty of your chosen images from the day.

Gold £850 ( 2012 - £899 )

The Gold Package has all that comes with the Silver Package but also includes the upgraded Madrid 10 x 10 inches Wedding Album available in Black or White. This much larger album has ten pages or twenty sides and will comfortably hold thirty-six of your chosen images from the Wedding Day. This package gives you the option to choose even more images to reflect your special day.

Platinum £999 ( 2012 - £1099 )

The Platinum Package gives you all the coverage from the silver package plus the photographer spending up to eight hours with you and includes the beautiful Leather Renaissance Album. This deluxe album has fifteen pages or thirty sides, that will hold up to 45 images.

Your photographer will do everything described in the silver package, but will in addition cover your day through to the first dance. Once the Wedding Breakfast has finished we will capture the speeches in a relaxed and unobtrusive style. Then where your schedule allows, we will have a portrait-style shoot with the bride and groom in the most suitable location we can find.

The rest of our time will be spent capturing the moments people share with each other at the happy event. We will also take photographs of any groups that may want a picture whilst they are together and will be happy to accommodate as many requests as you and your guests may have. This will give you an album showing the greater part of your event including up to eight hours coverage and will help us produce a well-balanced and detailed story of your day.

The Renaissance album at 12 x 9 inches with fifteen pages or thirty sides comfortably holds 45 images. This album will be created for you in the UK by Colorworld Imaging in Tyne and Wear. They are a professional photographic supplier using quality materials and with a very high standard of workmanship. There are many choices of finish and a range of colours for your genuine hand crafted leather covers. Miniature versions of your main album are also available in a choice of sizes as well as a deluxe presentation box.

Diamond £1675 ( 2012 - £1749 )

The Diamond Package takes you to a much higher level of photographic coverage and quality of album. You will have two photographers from the start of you day through to the first dance in the evening, capturing those special moments. We will also cover the Bride and Groom getting ready. We will attend your wedding for eight to ten hours to enable us to capture your day and includes the Italian Graphistudio Album.

The second photographer not only takes pictures but helps with the organization of group shots, allowing the main photographer to concentrate solely on capturing superb images for a truly bespoke album. During the evening we will where schedule permits produce a slideshow of images from the days event to be displayed during the evening. This is a great way to show all of your guests who could not attend the daytime a glimpse of your day so far and bring’s everyone together for the party!

This package also includes a free pre-wedding shoot a few months before the Wedding day. The aim of this shoot is to meet up and go over all the final details of the event together in an informal setting, whilst taking some pictures of the two of you at a suitable location. This is designed to help us get to know each other better so you are more relaxed on the big day in front of the camera.

You may purchase images from the pre-wedding shoot if you wish but there is no obligation to do so, and the print costs are kept to a very reasonable level.

With the Diamond Package comes the truly sensational Graphistudio Album.

The Graphistudio Album from Italy at 20 x 30 cm with twenty pages (forty sides) that will easily hold sixty images. The Graphistudio Album is the most versatile and beautiful one we include in our packages. As standard this album is created using the best metallic paper Graphistudio has to offer and has cover options up to the superb crystal glance.It is hand made using Italian leather and has a huge range of options for you to look at. There is also an excellent selection of mini albums to give to relatives or friends as a memento of your special day. These mini-albums are a very handy portable size.

The Renaissance and Graphistudio Wedding Albums can both be customized in many ways and pages can be added to incorporate even more images. They both come with real leather covers and you have a choice of colour and presentation cases to make them truly unique Wedding Albums.

Additional Services

Prints on Site (New for 2011) Memento Album

Professional studio lighting and backdrop can be set up during the evening to produce pictures of you and your guests on the night. These can be used to create a Memento Album containing an image of everyone at your wedding and give them the chance to write a few words next to their picture wishing you well and capturing their thoughts as well as their images on your special day. The pictures are 6x4 high quality prints and will be ready in minutes after the image is captured.

The cost is dependent upon the amount of guests you have during the evening but starts at £599 for any parties up to 200 guests.

Alternately you could have photographs taken of you and your guests during the evening and have them printed on site and given away as gifts. The cost is dependent upon the amount of guests you have during the evening but starts at £399 for any parties up to 200 guests.

Photography time in addition to what is covered by your chosen package:£99 for first hour or £150 for two hours then £75 per hour thereafter.

Additional digital high resolution professionally retouched images, not included in your package: £30 per image.

Additional Photographer on the day (where not included as part of your package):£250

Album Upgrades

There are too many available options to list here, and each season new albums are added by the suppliers. If you have a preference or would like to look at other options, then we will help you to choose your perfect album, either before or after the event. You only need make your final decision just before we start work on creating the album and before you choose the images to go into it.

Professional Prints

As with the album upgrades there are a huge range of options to look at if you want enlarged prints from the Wedding Day. You can have the popular “glass-free” framed prints that are laminated for durability and to enhance the images. There are canvas prints or modern acrylic pictures with options to have a wall-mounted montage of complementing images that can even include colours to match your home decor.
