Welcome! Even though we aren’t sitting in a cute cafe (in Paris, right?), sipping coffee, and chatting about all things wedding, my hopes are that this magazine will inspire you and show you a little bit about who I am.

ThereThere is so much that I want to share with you, but for right now, I will keep it plain and simple! Let’s face it, you really want to skip right to the meat of the magazine, and I know it.

PhotographyPhotography is my passion. I have been so blessed to have found my passion so young in life. After graduating from college with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, I found myself living with my parents, working 3 part time jobs, and feeling uninspired. I decided to treat myself to an entry level DSLR, and was so excited when the big box came! It waswas like Christmas morning! However, when I took the camera out of the box, I realized I had no idea how to use it. So I didn’t. For a couple of years.

Eventually, I decided to teach myself how to use my camera- I could see what I wanted the results to be, but had NO IDEA how to get them. Let. Me. Tell. You. Teaching children is much different from teaching myself! I am not the best student! After a frustrating few months, I felt confident in my skills, and started booking weddings. Before I knew it, my first summer waswas booked solid, I was meeting amazing people, and the adventure of my life was taking off!

I have photographed everything from small ceremonies to upscale weddings, glamour to Boudoir- my style is laced with photojournalism, so everything is a story waiting to be told.

My goal for every wedding is to tell a story- your story. I believe in the beauty of photojournalism, real moments, and real emotion. I want photos to bring back a rush of memories when viewed; to transport the viewer to a different time and place.

ThereThere is so much love and beauty in the world, and seriously, how beyond lucky am I that my job is to document it?! Life is so exciting when you get to experience people’s happiest moments with them every weekend.

Ahhhh, the Engagement Session. The perfect opportunity to snuggle and cuddle and look

amazing all while having fun! But believe it or not, the Engagement Session is so much more

important than just that!

EveryEvery couple has a different comfort level with one another, with PDA, and with being in front

of the camera, not to mention a crazy stranger holding that camera. It’s great to get used to

being posed and photographed in a relaxed setting-- and not on your wedding day! Plus, it

may be more difficult than you thought to look into one another’s eyes for an extended period

of time while holding a pose and without laughing.

InIn case that isn’t reason enough, just think about how much more in love you will fall after

such a romantic experience. In your hectic, crazy life, how often do the two of you get to

share intimate moments in romantic locations? Have you forgotten what it is like to share a

gaze that frezes time, or to exchange a caress that stops the world? Talk about romantic!

gallery, a complimentary 90 minute engagement shoot with one 16x24 thin wrap, all digital engagement and

wedding images, a set of 25 5x7 photos, one 20x30 professional Luster Print, and a custom designed 10x10

album.

The diamond of photography packages, which includes: two shooters for 8 hours, travel for each photographer

up to 100 miles, your choice of either a Bridal Boudoir Session or a Bridal Session (all images included on a USB),

all nal selected photos digitally enhanced and available in a private online gallery, a complimentary 2 hour

engagement shot with an 8x8 canvas album, digital les of all nal engagement and wedding images, one 20x30

Float Wrap, and a custom designed 12x12 wedding album.

Collection III, $2650This package is a perfect mix of budget friendly, and over the top! Collection II includes: Two shooters for 8

hours, travel for each photographer up to 100 miles, all nal photos digitally enhanced and available in a private

online gallery, a complimentary 60 minute engagement session which will include one 16x24 thin wrap and 10

digital images with reproduction rights, and a set of 3 beautifully constructed image blocks to display your

wedding photos (two 12x8 and one 12x12).

This package is perfect for smaller weddings with lots of style! This collection includes: two shooters for 8 hours,

travel for each photographer up to 100 miles, all nal photos digitally enhanced and availbale in a private online

gallery, a complimentary 60 minute engagement session which includes 10 digital les and an 11x14 professional

Luster Print, and one 20x30 professional Luster Print from your wedding day.

Small scale wedding? No problem! This is the package for you! Collection V includes one shooter for 6 hours,

travel for one photographer up to 50 miles, all nal images digitally enhanced and available in a private online

gallery, a complimentary 60 minute engagement session which will include 10 images on a CD (all images will be

$200), and one 20x30 professional Luster Print from your wedding day.


Have a go-to person. who will help the photographers. This could be the Maid of Honor, Mother of the Bride- someone who knows where things are so we don’t have to bother you!

Try to have your makeup and hair trial run for Try to have your makeup and hair trial run for your engagement session. You may want to let down your hair, but makeup will be key! Cameras aren’t always smart enough to recognize makeup and colors, so seeing how your makeup shows up on film may help you prepare for your wedding day.

Should anything be wrong (say, the florist only has you down for 4 bouquets instead of 5), this will provide plenty of time to fix the mistake.

In the long term, it's your outlook and attitude that makes for a brilliant, successful day. I once had a couple forget the programs, flowers, and rings AND the bride got a speeding ticket- but they laughed and had the best wedding day ever.

Create a detailed timeline of your wedding day that includes when flowers are set to arrive, when people should arrive, when hair and makeup will get done, etc. Include exact times and locations. Share this timeline with everyone involved in your wedding, including your photographer. Ask for help if needed! Have food on hand while you get ready. Though jitters may steal your appitite, by the time the day gets going, you will be hungry!Having healthy snacks and lots of water on hand will make for a better day.

Practice walking in your wedding day shoes to make sure they're comfortable enough to stand around in for your portraits and for the duration of your wedding. Pain is beauty, yes, but looking pained in a picture isn't worth the discomfort.

Essentials include some clear nail polish for snags, pain reliever for headaches, any makeup you need for touching up and a travel sewing kit. Band-Aids, lozenges, tampons and tissues are also good.
