Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa is situated within the grounds of the historic homestead and original summer residence of Sir Frederick Darley, the sixth Chief Justice of NSW. Set amidst two acres of manicured gardens adjacent to Echo Point, our 5 star resort overlooks the most spectacular scenery in the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park and is a leisurely 90 minute drive from Sydney CBD.

Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa was designed to celebrate its Victorian origins and its ambience reflects the romance of a bygone era. Lilianfels can cater for wedding receptions up to 100 guests and also has 85 accommodation rooms and suites that are all uniquely themed.

Pine ForestElevated above the entry driveway on the northern side of the Resort, the Pine Forest is shaded by two hundred year old pine trees and affords fantastic views of the Jamison Valley. Catering for up to 100 guests, the Pine Forest is an ideal outdoor ceremony venue along with the charming Darley’s Restaurant cottage in the fore-ground, it is also the perfect setting for your wedding photos.

Oak LawnSituated adjacent to Darley’s Restaurant and within the surrounds of the manicured rose gardens of the Resort, the secluded Oak Lawn under the shade of our ancient Oak tree is the ideal venue for a personal ceremony catering for up to 60 guests.

Banksia CourtyardPerfect for an elegant outdoor ceremony, our Banksia Courtyard descends from a covered verandah and caters for up to 100 guests. The Banksia Courtyard with its manicured garden surrounds and views overlooking the Jamison Valley is adjacent to the Banksia Room. An outdoor marquee can also be setup within the courtyard.

The Banksia RoomOur pillarless function room boasts 120 square metres of space with a ceiling height of 2.7 metres. Located on the ground floor, Banksia Room enjoys natural light, floor to ceil-ing French doors, which lead out to a covered terrace, views of the Resort gardens and overlooking the Jamison Valley. With the capacity to cater up to 100 guests for a wedding, the Banksia Room is ideal for grand indoor wedding celebrations.

The Wollemi Pine RoomWith 60 square metres of space and with a ceiling height of 3.6 metres, the Wollemi Pine Rooms is ideal for a small intimate style wedding catering for up to 40 people for a sit-down dinner. Located on the ground floor, Wollemi Pine Room enjoys natural light, full length windows and a sense of space.

FAQs

What time may I have my reception from? Your reception room hire begins once your Pre-Dinner Drinks have commenced.The length of time you are in the reception room is determined by the room hire included in your wedding package. Should you wish to extend the room hire, charges apply and it is required to be pre-arranged. Additional charges for DJ extension and beverages also apply. Please note curfews do apply at some venues due to proximity to accommodation.

FAQs

I have booked an outdoor ceremony – what happens if the weather is not suitable?Should the weather be deemed not suitable an undercover space will be used for your ceremony. The option will vary depending on availability but will be discussed with your wedding coordinator prior to your wedding date. Please note the decision will be made at the hotel’s discretion.

Is there a curfew on any of the reception rooms? Please note curfews do apply at some venues due to the proximity to accommodation, please discuss with your wedding coordinator to confirm exact reception finish times.

What time can I set up from? Please note access times are not able to be confirmed until one week prior to the reception.


We wish to go ahead with our booking - what do we do next? Once you advise that you wish to confirm your wedding with us, your wedding coordinator will send you a custom contract. A signed copy of this along with a 50% deposit of your estimated total is due within 5 working days to confirm your booking.
