The stunning Orangery at Stapleford Park is licensed for civil ceremonies and is suitable for up to 150 guests ­ once you are married the doors of the Orangery open out onto the beautiful gardens where you can enjoyChampagne and canapés before your Wedding Breakfast.

Smaller, more intimate weddings are held in a selection of our elegant rooms within the House.

Family and friends will share your celebrations as you take your vows in opulent surroundings, providing you with moments to treasure forever.

Blessings at Stapleford Park are held at the St Mary Magdalene church in the hotel grounds. The church was built in the 18th century by the fourth Earl of Harborough, and is an elegant example of Gothic Revival 

architecture. It has a tall, gracious tower, and above its entrance is a carving in the shape of a peacock's tail, the family crest.

TRAVELLING BY ROAD FROM LONDON ­ A1

The best road to take for Stapleford from London is the A1; travel north towards Grantham (approximately 90 miles). At Colsterworth, turn left onto the B676, signposted Melton Mowbray. Drive about 9 miles, through the village of Saxby then turn left at the

signpost into Stapleford. 

FROM HEATHROW AIRPORT Follow the M25 clockwise, past the M1 and take the A1, heading North. Then see directions above from A1. 

USING THE M1 (Heading North from London) You may of course wish to travel on the M1 Motorway; leave at Junction 21A, signposted A46 Leicester and Newark, and then turn on to the A607, signposted Melton Mowbray.

FROM THE NORTH ­ USING M1 (Heading South) Travelling down from the north, leave M1 Motorway at Junction 24, through Kegworth on the A6 then turn on to the A6006, following signs to Melton Mowbray. 

FROM THE WEST ­ BIRMINGHAM AND ENVIRONS Take the M42 North, to Junction 7 and join the M6 heading East towards Coventry at Junction 2 on the M6, take the M69 towards Leicester. 

Join the M1, heading North, for one junction only. Leave after Services at Junction 21A, signposted A46 Leicester and Newark, and then turn on to the A607, signposted Melton Mowbray. From Melton Mowbray follow the instructions above.

FROM MELTON MOWBRAY Follow the Ring Road (A607) and signs for Grantham, staying in the right hand lane. At the traffic lights go straight across on to the B676 following signs to Saxby then Stapleford. This road bears round to your left and takes you out into the countryside, after 4 miles turn right at the signpost to Stapleford and Whissendine, turn left at the signpost for Stapleford Park. 

BY HELICOPTER Helicopters can be arranged on request and the use of our landing pad is permitted.
