Venues at a Glance

Rental Fees All venue rental fees are subject to local 8% tax. In addition to the venue rental, a food/beverage minimum must be met and will be provided by your Wedding Sales Manager.

Guest Count It is the responsibility of the Wedding to select venues that will realistically fit their anticipated guest count. All reception capacities listed are based on the space fully seated with 10 guests at a 72” round with a plated style of dinner. Large head tables, dance floors and buffets can lower the number of guests that can be accommodated within your chosen venue. Ceremony capacities are based on theater style seating with one center aisle. Additional guidelines apply to venue rentals and will be provide to you with the contract for your event.

Wedding Guidelines

Rental Times All ceremony locations (excluding the Chapel) will be held for 2 hours of set up time and all

reception locations will be held for 6 hours of set up time prior to your event (based on availability

at the time of contracting.) Guaranteeing additional time may come with an additional

charge.

Outdoor Events

Callaway Resort & Gardens does not provide tents for outdoor events but will provide you

with a list of available vendors. A backup location will be held for your event at an

appropriately sized venue. Guarantees of a specific back up location will only be made

with an additional room rental.

Gardens Admission Wedding vendors are admitted into you venue during the schedules set up times. Wedding guests will be admitted to the Gardens at no charge on the day of the Wedding, up to two

hours prior to the scheduled time of the Wedding.

Audio Visual

Callaway Resort and Gardens is partnered with our in-house A/V company Encore, who

can assist you with everything from microphones and speakers to televisions for

slideshows.

Planning Service

While hiring a Wedding planner or coordinator is not required, it can greatly benefit any size

Wedding. Our preferred vendor list features planners with services ranging from full event design, to day of coordinators. The Callaway

Wedding team only assists in booking the event, setup and menu planning.

Day-of Contacts

Our professional team of set up staff will handle all property related set up. Your

dedicated banquet captain will oversee your food service and banquet team. A Wedding manager will be on hand at least two hours

prior to your start time for any assistance that may be needed.

Food and Beverage To assure that you have the best dining

experience possible, we do require you to use our team of professional caterers. Because we

know that no two Weddings are exactly alike, our Chef will happily customize a menu that fits your taste. In accordance with Georgia law, Callaway

is the only entity allowed to serve beverages.

Exit Ceremony

Rice, birdseed and sparklers may not be used because of the harm they cause wildlife and

natural resources. The release of butterflies or any other living thing is not permitted, per

Callaway Resort & Gardens’ agreement with the Department of Agriculture. Bubbles, glow sticks, biodegradable confetti or ribbon wands

make great alternatives and photograph beautifully.

Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel

The Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel seems as if it was built especially for intimate Weddings. This idyllic stone chapel features a stone altar and magnificent stained glass windows. Its picturesque, lake side setting is a lovely and inspiring location to begin your new life together.

Capacity Maximum Seated: 50 Maximum Standing: 75

Rental Fee $2,000

Chapel Specific Guidelines • The facility fee includes use of the Chapel for up to two hours at either 12pm-2pm, or 4pm-6pm. • No food/beverage is permitted inside or outside of the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel.

Musical Accompaniment You are welcome to provide any type of musical accompaniment for your Wedding. The Chapel features a rare, handmade Möller pipe organ that was designed specifically for this setting. The use of the Chapel pipe organ requires an organist from our vendor list.

Advanced Reservations are required with a non-refundable deposit of the full rental fee plus tax, and a signed agreement.

Cypress Room

Offering casual elegance on an intimate scale, the Cypress Room is ideal for celebrations up to 75 guests. Featuring picture windows and access to the Ironwood Courtyard, this space helps couples bring the outdoors in. It’s also a top choice for rehearsal dinners and farewell brunches.

Ironwood Courtyard Featuring shade trees, lounge tables and a stone fireplace, the Ironwood Courtyard is the ideal setting for casual cocktail style Weddings, bridal lunches and welcome parties. Capacity: Plated Dinner: 50 Cocktail Style Reception: 75 Rental: Peak Season: April- December: $1,000 Off Season: January and February + Sunday: $750

Ironwood Courtyard Specific Guidelines Existing furniture can be removed for a $500 fee. The fire place may be lit for after dinner ambiance or to

make late night s’mores. Heaters are available to rent for your guests comfort.

Gardens Restaurant This fine-dining venue is distinguished by an elegant atmosphere and creative dishes incorporating locally and regionally grown food products. Located in Callaway Gardens’ original golf clubhouse, the Gardens Restaurant overlooks serene Mountain Creek Lake and the picturesque 10th hole of the Lake View Golf Course.

Capacity Reception: 70 Rental Buy-out: $1,500 Rental + $5,000 Food/Beverage Minimum Day Event: $1,000 Rental + $2,500 Food/Beverage Minimum Gardens Restaurant Specific Guidelines Capacities are based on existing table set up. Tables may be moved and combined for

preferred seating, but may not be removed. Dinner events will have the option of a three or four course pre-fix menu. Menus

change seasonally to give diners the best menu options possible. Day events must be finished with the space by 3:00pm and are not available on

Sundays.

Longleaf Ballroom Our largest indoor venue, this ballroom can accommodate even the largest gatherings of family and friends. Longleaf also includes a bright and ample pre-function area for cocktail hour or food and beverage presentation overlooking Robin Lake.

Longleaf Lawn The Longleaf Lawn is sure to wow your guests and make your celebration truly unforgettable. Available for a ceremony and/or reception, the open lawn and terrace area provides the perfect setting to dance the night away under the stars.

Longleaf Lawn Specific Guidelines Wedding is responsible for securing a tent. Preferred vendors will be provided. A backup space will be held and determined by Callaway Resort & Gardens. Additional

Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center Ceremonies and receptions make a unique statement in the Callaway Discovery Center. The open designs, lofty ceilings, wrap around deck and expansive view of Mountain Creek Lake form the backdrop for a grand celebration on your special day.

Discovery Center Specific Guidelines Set up time begins at 12:00pm. Existing décor and exhibits may not be

moved. An additional fee of $500 applies if a

section of the space plans to be reset to accommodate both ceremony and reception.

*Additional time restrictions apply during Fantasy in Lights and a security staffing fee of $500 applies.

Events may not start before the Gardens close to the public. INSIDER TIP: A four-season venue featuring large picture windows overlooking the lake and landscaping, the Discovery Center is an ideal choice any time of year.

Ski Pavilion A location as unique and beautiful as your love story, the Ski Pavilion provides the backdrop for a wow worthy event, set atop Robin Lake. Surrounded by water and the natural beauty of the Georgia landscape, your personalities will shine against the blank slate the pavilion offers.

Callaway Resort & Gardens offers several lovely and unique accommodations options for your guests, including The Lodge and Spa, Cottages, Villas, and The Mountain Creek Inn. All include Gardens admission and free Wi-Fi. Newly renovated in Spring of 2017, The 4-Diamond Lodge and Spa provides guests with an upscale, relaxing stay. Guests will feel right at home with airy, earth-toned interiors, cozy furnishings and rich touches paired beautifully with approachable full-service amenities.

Lodging Guidelines

Courtesy Rates

All Weddings hosted with Callaway Resort & Gardens receive a courtesy discount of 5% on guest rooms throughout our four lodging options. Discount applies to the retail guest room rate at the time of the individual’s reservation call. To make reservations at this rate, guests may call the private reservation line dedicated to your Wedding, provided to you after contracting

Room Blocks

Room Blocks are available to Weddings that anticipate a larger number of overnight guests for their Wedding weekend. Wedding room blocks receive a locked in discounted rate at the time of contracting for a specified number of guest rooms. Rooms are held out of inventory at your choice of two lodging options, until 30 days before your event, when they are released back into general inventory and your discounted rate expires. In exchange for holding rooms out of general inventory, the Wedding agrees to utilize 70% of the held room nights before the Wedding date, or will be financially responsible for the difference. To make reservations within the room block, guests may call the private reservation line dedicated to your Wedding, provided to you after contracting.

Bridal Suites

Callaway Resort & Gardens offers you a number of lodging options to get ready in. Larger, more homelike options are available with the Villas or Cottages, or you can converge in our newly renovated suites at the Lodge and Spa. Early check-ins cannot be guaranteed, so to guarantee you’ll have ample time to prepare for your Wedding, we recommend the accommodation be reserved the night before and the night of the Wedding.
