Mission Point Resort is set on 18 acres of manicured gardens, expansive lawns and beautiful shoreline overlooking Lake Huron. Located on the sunrise side of historic Mackinac Island, approximately " mile east from downtown, our 239-room resort has been the premier site for wedding ceremonies and receptions for generations. From exchanging vows at our Gazebo in the Garden on the shores of Lake Huron, to experiencing a celebratory meal with loved ones on the expansive Lakefront Lawn overlooking the straits and lighthouses, to a festive reception in one of the log-beamed banquet rooms in the Main Lodge, you and your guests will not soon forget your Mission Point wedding.

We can’t say enough aboutthe beautiful venue or how wonderful Mission Point was to work with,

from figuring out how we could roast marshmallows for s’mores when it was too windy for a bonfire to having tandem bikes

ready to go after the ceremony for pictures. Head Chef Keith Shockling was amazing throughout the whole process to work with and not one guest had a negative thing to say about the food. It was all hot, cooked to perfection and beyond delicious.

By airPellston Regional Airport (PLN) o#ers direct commercial flights to and from Detroit and Chicago, with service by Delta and Lakeshore Express. Private charter flights to Mackinac Island are also available with Great Lakes Air.
