Adjectives are describing words. In Year 3 we try to use tier 2 and 3 adjectives and to write expanded noun phrases by using two adjectives
with a comma in-between them, before a noun.
What is a superlative?
A superlative describes something as the best by:
saying it is the ‘most’ something. For example, the most scrumptious
or by using an est suffixFor example, the tastiest or the yummiest
Wednesday 3rd MarchLO: To use modal verbs.
Today your Learning Objective is to use modal verbs in your writing. These can be
used to persuade Henry that he should try your meal!
As you are so brilliant at applying your Year 3 skills, we would also like to see ambitious
adjectives in your writing.
Your challenge © is to include some superlatives.
