Parents and Guardians, Summer camp is right around the corner! Youth Camp is one of the best investments that you can make in the life of your student. Students will participate in an exciting week full of fun, games, interactions with friends, and most importantly encounters with Jesus. Camp Dates: June 17-21, 2019 Due Dates: Registration (page 2) and $195 is due no later than Sunday, June 2 nd . - Payment can be submitted online, check, or cash. Camp Location: Camp Timberlake, Forsyth Camp Speaker: Daniel Gray Common questions/concerns from parents: - Students will stay in dorm style lodging with bunk beds. Single sheets or sleeping bags are necessary. Guys and Girls will be in separate buildings. - Camp Timberlake provides individual showers with private changing areas. - All meals are provided in the cost of camp, however extra money will be needed for concessions throughout the week. - The camp line up includes team sport events, games, and free time around the campus. Many events are outdoors. - Students are not allowed to leave the camp property unless previously scheduled. Visitors are not allowed to enter the camp property with out prior arrangement and consent. - All youth leaders are background checked, and are a regular part of Wednesday night leadership at ASM. - Youth leader must be informed of any students taking medications/ inhalers/ epipins, ect. - Students will only be allowed one piece of luggage. Snacks are permitted as long as they are included in luggage. It is our desire that a new student’s pastor will be relocated and transitioned prior to camp. This new youth pastor will lead the team of students and adult leaders going to camp. In the mean time feel free to ask any questions you may have about camp to me via email ([email protected]). After registration forms and payments are submitted, parents and guardians will receive a packing list and more specific details for this year’s summer camp.
