The day was reckonedwith the auditioning of thebudding models of the StateJ&K from whom the select-ed ones will walk the ramp.

International ModelTrainer auditioned theaspiring models and gavethe guidelines on whichthey have to walk with thesuper models at the Jammu
Fashion Week. The firsthalf of the day was dedicat-ed for auditioning and men-toring of adult models whoran in the age group of 18to 26 years.
Bose interacted with themodels and gave them bene-ficial tips.
Aprajita Sharma, who is aMiss India finalist, gavethem friendly piece of
advice with which the mod-els can brush up their outerpresentation and makethemselves fit to walk theramp.
The second half wasentirely given to audition oflittle kids that fall in theage group of 3 to 12 years,who were accompanied bytheir mothers. A friendlyand a warm counsellingwere done with them wherethe jury members cherishedinteracting with the kids.In addition to this, theirmothers were also audi-tioned that gave a magni-fied exposure to them.
The day concluded withan ignited curiosity in thecandidates. The remainingauditions will take place onthe November 17 and 18.

STATE TIMES NEWSSRINAGAR: The trainingprogramme for MedicalCoordinators and ArogyaMitras under AyushmanBharat-Pradhan Mantri JanArogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)has been started on Tuesday atPolytechnic College Srinagarand Jammu.
The training programme isbeing held for all the districtsof the State from 30thOctober to 2nd November2018.
The participants shall betrained in two modules con-sisting of BeneficiaryIdentification System (BIS)and Transaction ManagementSystem (TMS) that shall
enable the participants toidentify the beneficiaries at thehospital level and generationof golden record cards and ver-ification of the packages byMedical Coordinators bookedfor the patients and thereofgive the pre-authorisation bythe insurance company.
The training shall be moni-tored by Principal SecretaryHealth and Medical EducationDepartment Atal Dulloo, andis being conducted by StateHealth Agency AB-PMJAYunder the supervision ofBhupinder Kumar, ChiefExecutive Officer forAyushman Bharat-PradhanMantri Jan Arogya Yojana inthe State.

STATE TIMES NEWSSRINAGAR: Every possiblestep should be taken tostrengthen the security gridin Kashmir, adviser to thegovernor, K Vijay Kumar,said on Tuesday during areview meeting with policeofficials here.Kumar visited the policeheadquarters in Srinagarand chaired a meeting toreview the overall securityscenario in the Kashmir divi-sion, an official spokesmansaid. DGP Dilbag Singh andsenior police officers briefedthe adviser on the securityscenario and other issuesrelated to it, he said. During the meeting, Kumarconducted a comprehensivereview and also discussedvarious measures undertak-en to further enhance thesecurity in the KashmirValley, the spokesman said.There is always a scope for
improvement and every pos-sible step in this regard mustbe taken to strengthen thesecurity grid in the state, theadviser to the Jammu andKashmir Governor, Kumar,said.The meeting was attended bythe DGP, ADGP Law, Orderand Security Muneer AhmedKhan, IGP Kashmir S PPani and range DIGs of theKashmir Zone among others.The DIGs of the CRPF andthe SSB, and commandantsof the IRP, the CRPF andthe SSB were also present at
the meet, the spokesmansaid. The measures put inplace by the various securityagencies to check activities ofunlawful elements were alsodiscussed in the meeting, hesaid. The spokesman saidKumar stressed uponenhancing coordinationamong the security agenciesto maintain vigil againstinimical forces and to main-tain peace in the state. The 58.25 km, 4-laneJammu Ring Road, beingbuilt at a cost of Rs2023.87 crore, will linkJagati (western Jammu) toRaya Morh. There will beeight large bridges, six fly-overs, two tunnels and four
viaducts on this route, theNHAI authorities informedthe meeting.

during the meeting DeputyCommissioner RameshKumar highlighted theprogress achieved and vari-ous bottlenecks facing theproject. He said that 50 vil-lages are coming under thealignment of Ring Roadand 90 % of land acquisi-tion process has been com-
pleted. It was also informedin the meeting that work isunder process on 28 Kmroad out of 58 KM and20% of road work will becompleted and opened totraffic by March 31, 2019.
Principal Secretaryexpressed satisfaction onthe progress achieved in theland acquisitions for theProject as most of the landacquisition proceedings areat its final stages and landis being handed over to theNHAI.
He directed the concernedauthorities to ensure timelydisbursement of pendingcompensation amount onaccount of land acquisitionto the owners. He passednecessary instructions on
this regard to SDM(South).

Addressing the Advocates,Malik said that Legal educa-tion does not stop when youare admitted.
"Law is a profession thatdemands constant learning.New laws are being passedwith regularity which was notthe case before. Your successin the profession is going todepend to a large extent onwhat you are going to learnthrough practice, researchand interaction with col-
leagues and Judges ratherthan on what you alreadyknow," he told the gathering.
He added that as comparedto an earlier era, now most ofthe lawyers are entering theprofession with more educa-tion and technological skills.
"Some of you have postgrad-uate degrees. Some are profes-sionals in their own right inother fields. We hope thatthese extra competencies andcapabilities would assist you incoping with the fast-changinglegal landscape," he said.
Later the oath was adminis-tered by Justice Rashid AliDar followed by a lecture onthe "Professional Ethics andconduct" by him.
He stressed upon the newlyenrolled Advocates that char-acter is vital in all professionsand walks of life, and in the
legal profession particularly,the maintenance of the hon-esty of the lawyer is a matterof the first importance.
"The most worthy and effec-tive advertisement possible fora young lawyer, especially withhis brother lawyers, is theestablishment of a well-merit-ed reputation for professionalcapacity and fidelity to trust.The term ethics is something,which all of us inherently pos-sess," he said.
"What standard of profes-sional ethics are applicable tomembers of the legal profes-sion, we call that Legal Ethics.In your dealings in and out-side court, you should alwaysbear in mind that every mem-ber of the Bar is a trustee forthe honour and prestige of theprofession as a whole," headded.

STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Divisional Commissioner SanjeevVerma on Tuesday directed district administra-tions of Jammu and Samba to start the processfor demarcation of JDA land falling in theirjurisdictions.
Chairing a meeting here today, the DivCom asked the district administration toimplement the directions of High Courtissued in this regard in a PIL.
The meeting was attended by AdditionalDeputy Commissioner, Rashpal Singh,Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba,
Arun Manhas, VC JDA, P S Rathore, DLMJDA, D S Katoch, Revenue Attorney, AtulGupta, ACR Jammu, Nissar Ahmed andother concerned were present in the meeting.
ADCs of Jammu and Samba informed thatthey have identified JDA lands in differentareas of their jurisdiction and the process ofdemarcation of the land is in process. TheDiv Com asked the ADCs to demarcate theland and hand over it to JDA.
