Three Meeting Roles
1 – Hosts can: • Set up a meeting• Invite guests• Add content• Add or edit• Promote other participants to be hosts or
presenters. • Use any features available to a presenter.

2 - Presenters can:• Show content already loaded into the meeting
room from the library• Show new content from their computer.• Share own computer screen• Chat, answer questions, and broadcast live audio
and video.Presenters cannot alter the layout of the pods in the room.

3 - Attendees can:• View the content that the presenter is
showing or sharing, • Hear and see the presenter's audio and
video broadcast• Use text chat• Broadcast their own audio and video, if
given permission.
How to use Webcam
To start your webcam press the camera button
A pop up will appear and you will need to click ‘Allow’.
Once you can see yourself in the pod, click the camera button to take a still shot.
To activate AudioAt the bottom left of your screen you will have the talk button.
When you first enter the room your microphone will be turned on.
Press the padlock to turn your microphone off.
When you enter the room you will need to go into Meeting – Manage my settings & Audio Wizard. Work through the wizard.

Hold to Talk Handsfree Voice Options
Click in this box to starttyping your message.
Press enter when you are finished typing.
Your message will appear here for everyone to read.
Using the text chat areaThis is the Text Chat Pod
How to use the status menuUnder the Attendee List there is “My Status” with a drop down arrow.
You can indicate your intentions by choosing one of the symbols.
To clear your status simply use the “Clear my Status”
Connect Tools
Using the Whiteboard ToolsSelects a shape or area of the whiteboard. Click a shape to select it.
Creates a free-form line.
Creates a free-form thick marker line.
Draws a straight line between two points.
Creates square and rectangle shapes.
Creates circle and ellipse shapes.
Creates a floating multiline text field.
Leaves a Check mark, Arrow, Star, or Cross on the screen. Click and a menu box appears.
Undoes the previous action.
Repeats the previous action.
Prints the contents of a whiteboard.
Clear – but be careful it clears EVERYTHING from the Whiteboard.

Choosing a Colour
Once you make a selection from the toolbar another menu will appear you can then choose a colour, font style and width.
Using the Stamping Tool
This is the stamping tool

Have some fun trying out the four stamps……….
Using the Text ToolTyping on the Whiteboard is not as easy as we
would like it to be!!!!!
1. Choose the A from the tool bar, click on the screen and a text box comes up on the screen.
2. Type your message then click outside the box so your writing is visible for all.
3. PLEASE DON”T USE THE RUBBER as it wipes everything off the screen.
4. To undo use the blue undo arrow.
5. It seems that only one person can write at a time so that will be a challenge!!!
6. The drop down menu allows you to change colour, font and size of text.
