    LO: To use subordinating conjunctions.

    Think/write/discuss: What makes you scared or anxious?

    Do any of these make your scared or anxious? Label them from 1 to 10 (10

    meaning most scared and 1 meaning not at all scared).

    Write them in order, label them or print, cut and sort them into your distance- learning book.

    These are conjunctions. They join two ideas or clauses in a sentence. We

    use them to make our sentences longer so we can add more detail

    e.g. He ate a sandwich because his stomach rumbled.
