THINGS TO REMEMBER… Please ALWAYS have your ID ready when picking up your child! Only individuals listed on the campers Emergency and Release Form are able to pick them up from camp. Please make sure your child brings a snack with them every day (it must be peanut free!) To camp, your child should wear: - Sunscreen / Bug Spray - Gyms Shoes and Socks - Acve Wear / Play Clothes - Swimsuit / Wet Gear (Thursdays and every other Tuesday) NOTES FROM THE COORDINATOR Welcome to week three of Voyager Camp! We have so many fun things planned for our Under the Sea Week and we cannot wait to spend the week with you. On Monday, we will be at Dryden Park, play games and doing some fun underwater art projects. On Tuesday, we are headed to Wheeler Park to mini golf and connue the fun! On Wednesday we will go on one of Voyager Camps favorite field trips to Blackberry Farm, dont forget to wear your blue camp shirt. Thursday is our weekly water day at Moore Park Splash Pad, please bring or wear your swimsuit (we will have me to change), a towel, sunscreen and a water bole. On Friday, we will spend the day at Dryden Park, playing more games and doing more ocean themed craſts! A couple of important reminders, please do not bring toys from home. We dont want them to get broken or lost and are oſten more of a distracon. Also please label EVERYTHING. As the summer goes on, our lost and found connues to grow as well. Be sure to check it out. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any quesons or concerns. In an effort to provide an equal experience for all of our parcipants, please do not send your child with addional money for field trips. The park district is providing appropriate acvies for all of the children to parcipate in while we are on our field trip. Children will not be allowed to spend addional money while on the trip.

VOYAGER CAMP (ENTERING K-1ST GRADE)

Our traditional day camps offer kids not only the chance to meet new friends, but are designed to meet their recreational and social needs by keeping them active all summer with a variety of field trips, water fun, water activities, sports, and crafts all based on weekly themes. Please note: each camper is to bring their own backpack, snack, water bottle, sack lunch, drink, sunscreen and gym shoes with socks each day. The Park District will provide one camp shirt per camper for the summer, that must be worn on field trip days. Regular Camp Hours: 8:30-am-3:30pm *For an additional fee—Extra Camp Hours: 6:30-8:30am / 3:30-6pm Visit Voyager Camp online at www.genevaparks.org for program fees, forms, newsletters, activity / snack calendars and more. GENERAL CAMP REMINDERS

All participants should treat each other, staff

and equipment with respect. To ensure everyone’s safety, participants need

to wear athletic shoes everyday to fully participate. Please make sure your child is dressing appropriately for the weather. We will enjoy the outdoors as much as possible! Label your children’s belongings. Be sure to

check our lost and found daily! You must sign your child in and out each day.

This is very important. Also please understand for the safety of your child we will ID anyone picking up your child that we do not recognize. Thank you for your cooperation and

understanding. Electronic devices and toys should stay home.

The Park District will not be responsible for them.
