The film opens during World War Two as a young Gainsbourg - the child of Russian Jewish parents - negotiates the terrors of Nazi-occupied Paris. Gainsbourg develops into a rising young star and unlikely womaniser who charms a married Brigitte Bardot and eventually weds Jane Birkin and fathers actress Charlotte Gainsbourg. 3:35 am Movie: Medieval Fightbook - Composed of 150 paper folios and written in Swabian

dialect, the 1459 Fight Book is a one of medieval world's most mysterious manuscripts. Contained within its beautifully illustrated pages is unique imagery of bloody combat, war machines, weird inventions, and judicial duels. Today much of the manuscript's story, as well as its details remain unexplained.
