11/5/2010 Dear Parents, Well, we’ve made it to the last game of the season already. I cannot believe how quickly it flew by. Rather than the usual news, there are many other important details I have to pass along - our last practice canceled due to rain has made communication a bit challenging. Here are the details… Saturday’s game is at 9:00 AM against the Gators. We will wear WHITE. It will likely be cold - please dress the boys appropriately for the cooler weather. Consider track pants or sweats and long sleeves under their jerseys. I suppose the “natives” may even want to wear hats and gloves (we Yankees are thick-blooded or is

that headed??) ☺ - point is, please make sure the kids are comfortable. The award ceremony is at the church that same evening. We need to meet there at 5:30 PM. Please look for me in the atrium. The players and coaches will be seated as a team in the center section of the worship center and friends and family will be on the outside sections. There is team recognition and a special award for each player followed by a program by Upward recommended illusionist, Toby Travis. The whole family will enjoy his program. The team pictures will be delivered to Cornerstone - you will be notified within the next few weeks when they are ready for pickup. Please make sure I have your most current phone number if it differs from the one you registered with. I will have more details at the game.
